I remember sometime after 9-11 my local gw (now closed) had a poster of a space marine in a destroyed city picking up a small child from a hole in the ground with the mother in the hole also... It was like a gw tribute for the people who died in the attack. I know this was years ago but I was wondering if anyone knew of the picture and could attach it.

I looked on google and found nothing. Anyone got it or know where to find it ?

Most likely it was something done by either the owner of that store or a local patron.

If you have the inclination, you might try to track that store owner down.

Yea that sounds awesome, so I spent the better part of an hour or so looking and didnt find anything even CLOSE to what you described.

Search "Cortez saves humans Rynn's World" and if its an official piece you should be able to find it

That story of Cortez sounds like the picture exactly. It's an awesome picture wish I can find it.
