Hey everyone, I think im confusing 5th with 6th rules, but when a vehicle is hit by a small or large blast template and the little hole in the middle doesn't touch the hull, is it still half strength?

If it isn't, that would render the deathstrike as less useful than the manticore correct? (weighing the variable blast radius of the DS and it being AP 1, against the M's possible multiple barrages)

Thanks again, sorry if it was n00b question

No longer half strength. That's an old 5th ed rule.

Don't forget the deathstrike ignores cover.

Trying to compare the DS to the Manticore is a bad thing to do IMO.

Single shot vs 4 shots D3 Barrage

The single shot is kinda randomized with the D6 roll to see if the missile is ready IIRC. Never been a big fan of that.

And it's also a D6" radius, so on a roll of 3 or more it has a larger size than the large blast marker.

No no it's a 3 inch plus d3 inch radius. It averages as large as the huge apoc blast marker.

Question related to this. For Blast is it always side AV or is it the side the shot is coming from like normal shooting?

1500

I don't know why people complain about GK so much... It's just a game, and nobody complains about Mephiston... So why complain about Draigo?

It's the side facing the shooter. If it's a barrage weapon firing indirectly, determine facing from the center of the blast.

This is incorrect for vehicles. (But it is correct for non-vehicle models).

Barrage always hits Side armor on vehicles. (34)

I stand corrected; that's what happens when I go off my (rather untrustworthy) memory on a unit that I've never used

This was rather helpful to stumble upon actually as I've been doing it with my buddies against front armour
