Hi there,
I´m playing the Paradiso Campaign with some guys of my gaming group. I´m playing Combined Army and try to use the Morat sectorial right now. Now I´m thinking about the mission number 202. My enemy will play Nomads. I love Morat and now I´m thinking about a Hungry-heavy list. Let´s see what you think of...

Group 1: The Hunting Party

1.) Hungry(Gakis)

2.) Hungry (Gakis)

3.) Hungry (Gakis)

4.) Hungry (Gakis)

5.) Hungry (Preta)

6.) Hungry (Preta)

7.) Hungry (Preta)

8.) Hungry (Preta)

44p.

Gruppe 2 The Morat Supremacy

1.) Yaogat Strike Infantry

Spitfire
2.) Yaogat Strike Infantry (Lieutenant)

3.) Yaogat Strike Infantry

Spitfire
4.) Yaogat Strike Infantry

Spitfire

5.) Yaogat Strike Infantry

Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust

6.) Treitak Spec Ops (hacker)

7.) Kurgat Assault Engeneer

Mk12 , D-Charges,

8.) Kurgat Assault Engeneer

Boarding Shotgun, D-Charges, Antip-Mines

9.) Daturazi Witch Soldier

Chain Rifle,
10.) Daturazi Witch Soldier

Chain Rifle, Smoke Grenades

Having 8 Hungries gives alot of Impetous/Irregular Orders, Witch Soldiers giving Smoke for the Hunting Party and the wonderful Yaogat Link (badasses they are!!!). Got 3 Ingeneers/Hacker to get the mission done..what do you think?

Second idea is a simple 5-Morat Vanguard Link with HMG, Missile Launcher...

List305b

1.) Treitak Spec Ops (hacker)

Combi Rifle
2.) Morat Vanguard

Missile Launcher
3.) Morat Vanguard

HMG
4.) Morat Vanguard

Combi Rifle

5.) Morat Vanguard

Combi Rifle

6.) Sogarat Tempest

HMG

7.) Kurgat Assault Engeneer

Mk12 , D-Charges,

8.) Yaogat Strike Infantry (Lieutenant)

9.) Yaogat Strike Infantry

Spitfire

Group 2: The Hunting Party

1.) Hungry (Gakis)

2.) Hungry (Gakis)

3.) Hungry (Preta)

4.) Hungry (Preta)

5.) Hungry (Preta)

6.) Hungry (Preta)

Simple asskicking...hope so ;-)

aahhh...I know I got 305 points, because of the Mobile reserve Spec.

505 points? I thought Paradiso recommended 300 points.

That said, I'd never consider playing above 300 points, so I can't help here.

that´s right but you can get some specialisations throughout the campaign (like more SWC, to know who´s the enemy´s lieutenant, etc.) I took 5 more points.

It is not the 5pts he wondering about. It is the 500pt, the everything and the kitchen sink level. Instead of the intended 300pts level, that force you to choose between units so it harder to get all the big toys and hacker/engineer/doctors, making for a far more tactic game, more so with the campaign play.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Sometimes I am a real idiot. These are two 305 point lists. Just wrote 500 and do not know why. My mistake

That hungries list is awesome - if i had that many hungries models i'd wanna try it out, for sure.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

I used the first list in a campaign game against a vanilla Nomad force. It was really cool to see my enemy´s face when I used the hungries (I used GW symibonts as proxy models to test the list). It worked real well and the Morats destroyed the Nomads...I´ll try more of this.
