The Black Mace amuses me.

Especially when the wielder turns into a Daemon Prince, and proceeds to one-man and entire Tyranid army.

Good times.

Also, force weapons in general, especially the first time I saw one used; watched a single Grey Knight wade through two whole armies with very lucky rolls as all his mates died, only to hit, wound, and insta-kill the Chaos Lord at the center of the army, contest the objective, and tie the game, as it was the end of the 5th turn, and we rolled that the game ended right there.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Murder Sword ^^!

Give it to a Chaos lord with Mark of Tzeentch and Sigil of Corruption and you've got yourself a Character hunter right there !

Fancy Hive Tyrant you say? I Challenge thee!

The best melee weapon is a pair of plasma pistols, because then at least you can shoot the enemy to death.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I'm quite partial to thunderhammers, personally. I have a terminator wolf lord with double hammers, and he looks rather formidable.

As a Chaplain fanboy I have to go with the Crozius Arcanum. It's all I want for Christmas. Well, that and a chainsword.

The Emperor's Champion blacksword. Space marine killer...occaional small vehicle killer . 6th edition rules robbed it of it's terminator killing ability though :(

The Swarmlord's bonesabres. They ignore armor saves, cause instant death, and force rerolls on successful invul saves.

As a standalone, I'll probably go with the thunderhammer-making the enemy hit at I1 if they suffer an unsaved wound has helped me so many times (lash whip tyrant, chappy vs squad of wraiths with the whatever coils) or just against other characters.

As a pair, lightning claw/fist of some sort. I get both attacks from 2 specialist weapons and I get to choose the weapon depending on what i'm facing

In terms of the actual game my favourite weapon is easily the Power Klaw.

In terms of fluff and background, the Chainaxe is one of my favourites for naturally Khorne Related Reasons.

In terms of what I would want in real life: The Humble Chainsword, a highly under-rated weapon
