So I run a Space Marine Allied detachment with my Tau, and I'm considering running some converted bikes as fast attack slots for it. What I'm wanting to do is built some Tau-tech like hoverbikes.

I considered somehow modifying Tetras or just plain Space Marine bikes, its a difficult process/ideal, but it seems overly expensive/complex.

Can anyone think of a way to do this without (hopefully) costing me a fortune?

Edit: Think I found a setup I'm going to do. I'm tempted to take the engines from a Pirahna for the base, using a modified "top cover" from the Pirahna for the front. Use the underslung gun for the bottom cannon and some other bits for the rest. I just need to find a good 'seat'. Its going to be a pain but I'm going to mess with it and see what comes of it.

You can get some hover bikes on eBay not sure on the price tho or if they look tau enough

I'm moreso looking to custom build my own and I'm trying to figure out what to kitbash.
