I'd go for the latter. Termies from the DV box have been offered for cheap. The same holds for the RW Bikers.

But the new Deathwing Terminator box contains option in the new Dark Angels book that you can't really construct easily with existing parts (Plasma cannons!).

Termies don't have access to plasma cannons.
But the DV Termies come with an assault cannon and a Sergeant with a power sword.

The new Dark Angels Terminators, which is what we were talking about, do have Plasma Cannons.

The new box sets of Deathwing Terminators (which come with both a Deathwing Command unit and "normal troop" Deathwing Termies in one box, good deal imo. They are doing the same with Ravenwing, just making a Ravenwing Box) had options for Plasma Cannons. Dark Angels basically equal plasma on everything that can take it, after all they need all of it to hunt The Fall- The terrible terrible xenos and enemies of the Emperor

To the OP: You need to buy normal Terminators then a Dark Angels conversion kit. Or, if you can wait a few weeks, wait on the release of the box sets that have been discussed. They look to be a good deal for a DA army

ARCHOTECH WARD! thats more than just plasma guns you know, hell you could of had them taking stuff like conversion beamers or having the ability to take suspensors so dev's could move and shoot with a lower penalty.

Now dont get me wrong as a loyal son of russ i hate you dark angels with a burning passion no skald could ever describe in a mortals life time, but even you traitors deserve more than just getting a bunch of plasma weapons.

I hope there's something more interesting to the army than spamming AP2 guns.

*sigh* (and yes, I actually sighed in real life)

Jeremy Vetock is writing the book, not Matt Ward. Climb down from the bandwagon and take a deep breath.

Thanks for the input guys, I was dubious about buying DV termies for the lack of weapon choice as they came with only enough weapons for each bloke in a set pose but now they are bringing out DW squads that's perfect. I'm planning on building Balthazars 5th and belials DW
