Lotus Hatcher
A mere shadow of his past he is. Master of melee combat, blessed weapon user but loyal to nobody he was. As he stands today, a massive mountain of muscle, ram head and decade old wheelchair, he might look a sad character with desperate life. His strong arms can drag him over the deserts, and end someone's life as fast as it started, but the corruption is his brain has made him demented and helpless. Only Master Merchant is able to construct bionic legs for his superior fighter, as he believes Lotus Hatcher is still capable to make a good thug for his travelling party. Blimey, maybe Master Merchant is also afraid to give functional legs to his fellow, you see Mr.Merchant ain't just anybody, he's a total jackass to his loyal group - as all businessmen tend to be - It might be that it's much safer for his skin to keep that fella disabled. Yesss.... indeed it is......
Now back to Dark Eldar!

Time to dig a grave for these fellas.
I think this cyclops scheme is not getting anywhere anymore, so I shall quit their breeding... farewell my lads! I found a nice little box the group, and decided to add a familiar inside the box... It became some sort of biomechanical creature watching over Merchant and his thugs.
So. What shall I do with these creatures? I shall give them a rest in my collection for a moment, and then probably sell them to a person who'd actually like to play some games with them. Who knows.
And, after the burial, I accidentally started a new project with much more different things to do! Surprise, damnit.
Marked men - preacher
A horseman passes by.
"Hmph, look at that my lad. Obviously one of those crazed souls waiting the stars to fall. I'll bet ya he has nothing more in his sleeve but the urge to make even more townsmen go nuts and abandon their lives, I once saw when one of his kin came to a dusty town like these and gathered a sick group of people... And guess what. They all were butchered. I call it a butchering when you manage to wash ones brain only with your swollen tongue, and the victims starts to believe there really ain't much left to live for.... Damaged soul I'll tell ya. - What? Haven't seen a rider yet? Listen to me lad;"
The horseman looks like an old religious creep, but in reality he ain't much older than a man at his best age. IT makes him look old. IT causes his limbs to fall off during the years, and the worst thing is he actually believes that his god beneath the stars talks him when a finger turns black and starts to grow black veins up your hand. He's giving his body to his Master piece by piece. These holy men carry their kin with them, as you can see - rotten heads hanging from the ropes... I guess the gauntlet hanging form the horse's side still has his own right hand there. I'm sure he has no more than few weeks before his body finally gives up, and a new preacher takes his place, carrying the remains of his family. A preacher like that will poison also your mind if you listen too carefully. It might be that you my lad are the next preacher if you ain't careful... Sometimes the biggest threat sounds like words of wisdom. His words are sickened promise of relief. By being unholy, he thinks he can become a god in flesh. A martyr of sorts.
Travelling from town to town is the only way for him to keep his religion alive. He must find a new apprentice before his collapsing.
"Oi, lad! Pass me the bottle will ya?"
A rough model to start brainstorming around a new scheme. YYYEEHHAAAWWW

That dread is really quite amazing as is all of it, any chance of some more of the BAs?

Thank you very much for sharing these, those blood angels really are a excellent.
The colour balancing is spot on. I especially like your metallics, done using washes (?). The bases are just awesome on all your models.

Excellent inclusion of crackle medium, both the Terminator's minimalistic basing and the subtle cracks in the Plague Marines armour are fantastic!
Speaking of Nurgle's finest, was the build literally the FW torso on Terminator legs? That simple?
Love the Ork parts throw in as well, I do love how archaic it looks.
Gorgeous checker pattern too.

Hiya and thankses. Yep, death guard torso, shoulderpads and ordinary terminator legs from space marine terminator box set. Backpack is from space marine box... Terminator legs and ork weapons balance each other quite nicely

The effect is made with 4 different inks and one acrylic over white - I guess I have to make a tutorial with pictures about the red I use nowadays... Wait for it!

A tutorial would be much appreciated, that red would look great on an Imperial Knight.

This could not be more opposite to how i see and paint minis. And i love that. I generally stay away from chaos minis because i find them cluttered...and with your paint jobs, even more so. Your style IS chaos. The spirit of it anyways (not the execution). I love the stuff youve put up, especially the last guy. Very 40k. Very Grimdark. Lots of stuff of going on in one little miniature. Very interesting, ill be watching and learning. Thanks for sharing your work
Cheers!

Beer and heavy metal - that's awesome! Give one of them a banner with that as their words!
Great looking big marines, suitably chaotic!
Looks like crackle paint is the new black, but the standout for me is that chequered shoulder pad!

I thank thee for your support! Kind words from all of you. It was a test for me if I still had anything to give... After few months break I was unsure to paint anything!
The next thing in line to complete after resurrecting my paints is to make a duo of BA land raiders and a handful of terminators. With those minis I decided to make a tutorial for acrylic inks.
Cheers all.

Hi again. After I while I've managed to gather a group of characters - The first idea was to make a imperium themed group of survivors, and the second was to mimic Spiky Rat Pack's Femme militant series, and I got kinda carried away with the scheme.
Now there's a handful of HUMAN characters with various backgrounds (Of course there's some humor dumped in these fellas, but in general I see these as more serious fellas at the edge of the humanity or time, than cyclops creatures with a thrive for bourbon)
I like things twisted. Here's the travelling circus at the moment.
Tell me what do you think. I have several options for the painboys face at the moment. What a glorious miniature.
