Well there is the list, just a few points shy of 3k. let me know what ya think, if it would be effective at all, the 3 henchmen units would be riding in the 3 stormravens and one of them would get the techmarine to go along with them

Few things

1) Double check your points costs.

I think your strike squads are way under.
I think that they should be 255 points with the equipment you listed.

Your DCA units are over
I think they are 135 points the way they are listed

2) Commenting on this list is difficult for a few reasons.

First, 3k is not a very common tournament point level. It is hard to know what you will be facing, so it is hard to say if what you have is good or not.
Also, you are running a "all in" list. If you are up against stuff your DCA are good against, you will dominate. But if your DCA and Flyers are shut down, then you will loose big.

All that said, I like your list, and I think it looks like a ton of fun. You are running a lot of the same stuff that I like to run.

When you are playing with multiple units of DCA/Crusaders, your game plan starts with placing objectives.

DCA do not assault well into cover, so you want as many objectives out in the open as possible, so your DCA can assault and kill whatever is holding it.
Crusaders have INV saves, so it is not a big deal if you do not have cover to protect them when they are holding an objective.

You want to place objectives so they are in the open, and also preventing your opponent from placing other objectives in cover. it will make a big difference.

You were absolutely right thank you, and why isnt 3k very common? what is the closest common army point cost?
Also, how are the 3 strike squads going to do, theyd be footslogging with no transport? should i replace the 3 strike squads and paladin squad for 1 10-man paladin squad and a 10-man termie squad, or just 2 10-man termie squads? would that help my 'all-in" problem if it is even a problem?
And ty for the objective advice

GK Strike Squads are pretty solid. As long as you keep them in the full 10 man squads, they are a threat to most everything. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, lol.

most tournaments run between 1500 to 2000 points, mostly for time issues. More points than that and the games are too long to have 3-4 in a

Strike squads are fine on foot, they work well that way, especially with psybolt ammo.

"All In" lists are not bad. It just means that you will win big or you will have a difficult uphill battle, (depending on the list, terrain, ect.) You are unlikely to have a game where you feel evenly matched with your opponent. You are doing everything you can to mitigate it by having some solid scoring units in the form of strike squads.

Hey does anyone think it would be worth it to replace one of the dreadknights with a dreadnought using twin autocannons

Dreadknights are way more durable than dreadnoughts. At 3k your opponent will have alot of stuff that will be able to fry a dreadnought pretty quickly, it will be hard for him to make his points back.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

They also fill different purposes. I am concerned that long range turn 1 will be missed.

I also usually take the sponsons on my stormravens, but I get any you wouldn't in this case.

Dcas in Lrcs is nice, but the heavy slots are hard to work in.
