Hey everyone,

I have spent a good bit of time commenting on your P and M blogs and I felt the need to get something of my own started. Here is my first P&M army! My girlfriend bought me a battleforce for Christmas as a starting point.

I will be kit bashing to make my 2 Rune Priests needed! Here is the first one:



I know my photo skills are not that stellar but I would be more than happy for your suggestions! Stay tuned as I still have many more wolves and pods to build

Now while i do enjoy the sword, wouldn't a staff be more appropriate for his role? He looks great.

Honestly I did kick around the idea of a staff but I do not want him to be disadvantaged in combat. I think I might do that though tbh. I am still kicking it around.

Nice start, eldar. I'm looking forward to following your work. I second Panda's suggestion, at least with this build. Right now he looks like a Grey Hunter. Or maybe give him something to make him look more like a priest: some runes, a raven, a burning brazier....

I am currently working on making him a staff. I am going to employ a technique that I think many have used. I am going to take the Grey Knights staff and put a wolf head on it! Pics to come!

What do you guys think? I think he looks pretty good. I have to create a green stuff buffer for the new head but I think it just makes him look more insulated.

Looks good, eldar. I Like the staff. Not sure about the head, though. The screaming face doesn't seem to go with the static pose....

Priming is done and bodies are washed! Now I am waiting for them to dry and will start doing the details on each one!

You might be able to get by with better lighting for now. Do you have a lamp you could use to shed some light on you figures?

I do but it is a yellow light. I need to get a white light bulb. We just moved and I am finally settling back into my space.

I will keep that one in mind though!

These guys are coming along nicely. Definitely like the wolfen the best. If I can say one thing, a wash over the skin would bring out more facial detail. Keep it up!

I am learning out to paint flesh step by step. I have washed the faces on the new squad and they look pretty good imo. I need to redo the rune priest though.

i do enjoy the wolves but i feel the sword is a little meh to me. Spruce it up with more greens?
