Hey, someone asked today for ideas on how to do a conversion that was covered in WD. I promised to look for it when I got home, but I wanted to make sure I was on the right page here. If I were to scan it or photograph it, this is permissible:

A.) I could post the photo/scan on WD as part of a review, as the prohibition on such on Dakka is only with regards to rules. I can use the gallery.

B.) I could post some of it, but not the whole article, as above.

C.) A or B, but I can't post images in the Gallery.

D.) None of the above - none of the content of any issue of WD, even if OOP, should be provided on Dakka.

So, any of the mods\admins want to weigh in? I'm not trying to start an argument with you guys, just looking for an answer before I upload.

Thanks!

I have not had any complaints about a few WD pages I have in the Gallery, nor when I hosted the same on Photobucket for years.

OK, thanks. I think its a 2 page spread IIRC but who knows, I might not be able to find that issue.

Probably because there aren't any...

As a general rule, we prefer to not have peope upload copyright material into the gallery. We can turn a blind eye to partial scans, as are sometimes used in rules debates or to show particular models, but posting whole pages would be wandering into the sort of territory that GW legal don't much like you wandering into. The safest option is to host it elsewhere and just link to it.

Ok, I can do that too. Thanks.

You're correct. I forgot that I had them on my Photobucket, not here.

My bad!
