From what i've read from the HH series, there were a few people from the traitor legions that were good, but what are the names?

I know:
DG- Garro
EC- Saul Tarvitz
WE- Varren
LW- Loken and Whatshisname 'The Half-Heard'
TS- pretty much their whole legion was loyal
WB- Sol Targon

But did most of them either die, or become the future inquisition?

There are a fair amount of them. The principle ones are:

Garviel Loken, Tarik Torgaddon, Nathaniel Garro, and Saul Tarvitz. If you want to know more about them, try Lexicanum.

But then....there were heretics in the loyalist legion- such as the DA on Caliban...

That is a special case.

Among the other loyalist legions, if there were traitors in the ranks we don't yet know much about them.

The first legion is the MOST LOYAL OF ALL LEGIONS, and anyone who says otherwise is a filthy liar!

Spehss Mahrens, todeh the enemeh is at oua doar. We know oua duteh and we will do eet. We fight for our honor as Blod Rehvens, as SPESS MAHRENS, and we fight in the nehme of the Emprah!

I'm not sure what kind of kool-aid you're drinking if you think that's accurate.

The Thousand Sons, all of them, were cavorting with daemons for centuries before the Heresy. You really can't be much more a traitor than that.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Right.

We only get rare examples like the White Scars in Garro:Sword of Truth.

not knowingly, in that they though what they were doing was for the greater good and saw them as "primordial predators" in the warp, not actual daemons,
They were forced onto the path of the traitor by Horus and Leman Russ,

Word Bearers on the other hand actually created possessed marines

Currently debating whether to study for my exams or paint some Deathwing

not knowingly,

It's pretty irrelevant whether you're subservient to daemons because you knew what they were, or that they lied to you. Either way, you're damned.
