My Chaos Lord, Lord Captain Lorimar, of the World Eaters' 4th assault company.

The model was built in late December and early January. Didn't see any paint yet, though.

Having him in the competition would be an excellent way of forcing myself to paint him in a timely fashion...

still workin on it...

at kraut... awesome model... í feel taken down a peg... darn...

at maus... wow...the mask looks super! no pun inteded!... i am a bit unsure of the "A" though... looks too sausage like atm...but the maks is compensating for that completly!

also...from my part...

there is a hero... at least one half of him...(i will not glue his boltpistol wielding arm for now... this will get glued on after paint has happened... otherwise the paintjob will be more a pain(t) job... too much covered areas then... so i will paint this one later on unassembled...or rather part assembled...

added cogteeth to the rim of the shiled... do you think these are undue? i am not too sure about them...also i added a new piece of heraldry to the shiled... it is a cross between wings and a "v"... what do you think?

This sounds awesome, I wanna submit my Ultramarines captain. He's in my gallery, but I'll throw the pics up on here. After my first round of painting somebody mentioned his lame hair, and on second look it reminded me of Chuck Norris, so I ran with it for the second go.

Ah, my plan was to turn him into a terminator lord on the precipice of ascension, 'cuz I need a lord for my CSM army too. I think he's too small to be a DP, but I suppose my friends would allow me to play as it as a counts-as! I'm still wondering how I can show that he's on the edge of ascension with the bits I currently have. Hmm..

Could I still enter? I have an old destroyer lord conversion I started but never got around to finishing, this would be the perfect chance to finish him up

I reckon contestants are welcome all the time, but they'll have to take note that the end date for this contest is the end of February!

I get that feeling as well, the list of participants list grows every day, with each and every WIP so far looking the bees knees... Making me think my effort is going to be pretty poor :(

Build is finally complete and the base coat is on.



Speaking of 'outmatched' etc, I have no misgivings about even placing in this contest, but I'm feeling very motivated to finish this so I can at least stand proudly with the other contestants that completed their entry. That in itself will be my 'win'.

I just relised a fatal flaw in my plan! I have to sculpt a head...

with a near-toal of 0 sculpting experience...


Well, looks like I may have to go with the herald idea...
