Yeh I think you mentioned that near the end of The Beast, I think if I'd read it in January they would still have been there. Nevermind though, it's still very enjoyable! Haha yeh it seems that most people are into one or the other, funnily enough I'm more technically minded so I should really be better with plasticard. I think it comes down to having the right tools to an extent. I'll have to get a better set up to work more carefully, I do most of my hobby sitting on the couch with the miniature in my hands. There are many people a lot better than I but i'd be happy to answer any questions you have the best I can.

All the pics are still there on PB, just moved around into different sub-folders, so If I were locked in a small room with nothing but Dakka, I could fix them, in about a year

Pretty much the reason I'm only putting my pics here on dakkadakka. Too much of a headache trying to work everything else out.

It depends, some MODS are overly picky about what gets deleted during their purges

ah yes... i´ve seen that carriersystem at my in-laws... be sure to load it with yon bikes most carefully... your car looks rather mint atm... what a shame to ruin it with bike related scratches... or do you like your car weathered too as your tanks? I doubt it^^...

Lederhosen I thought were a Bavarian kind of thing, Vik ist ein Berliner, so closer to Prussia than Bavaria, I was stationed in the Bad Wurtemberg area in Neu Ulm. I have Bavarian Roots, but live in Indiana, where you live now doesn't really mean much. Most European Peasant records can't be traced past 1600 anyways, too much disease, war, and death.

True, but Vik explained once that he has always been in the Berlin area, so he needs to get the spiked helmet, the Picklehauber, with eagle scroll work in gold or shiny brass! Not sure how much one goes for these days, especially if it is from the WW-I era.

The cloud is a computer network domahickey thingamajig that I can't explain. But if I take a Picture on my iPhone it instantly is connected to my wife's phone and our ipad. Shortly after I took the photo of the tiger (mascot), my wife texted me with a lol, and asked what I was doing. I hadn't even posted it to dakkadakka yet.

Well he traded the yamak sauce o get the stem bolts, but later tried trading them for land on bajor. Not even all the way through the first season on tos, and can't wait o get to the other series. I never even watched enterprise, except for 20-30 minutes.

Enterprise is on Netflix now too I see! It's a lot easier than downloading them all and hoping you get the English version when I watched it through

I think the problem with a new trek series is all the tech is so far advanced. The old series was great because they DIDN'T have the technology, and had to think the problems through. All while Kirk was getting his shirt torn, either in a fight or from a yeoman. DS9 was good because ou had the conflicts and the remoteness of the local. Voyage I never got all the way through, might watch before next generation. I think a good spin off would be an academy series. You could have different races and do lot more political stuff with being on earth. You could also have field trips on board vessels in the fleet, as well as guest appearances

Naa, that whole timeline is gone now with the new movies, it'll never happen.

That is the nice thing though, they can now make movies in the one timeline continuum, or as they have been the latest movies are in the rebooted altered timeline universe so we get young Kirk/Spock adventures

Too bad about the timeline getting pooched. Still in the first season as I've had lots of errands around town the last week or two, so not much happening with that, but as a kid I never realized how often Kirk got his shirt torn . I now am watching just to see if its the same torn shirt or if they made new torn shirts each time. I would think that they'd make one as the costs alone would have been insane.

Nope, the consensus is that it's all done, not returning to any of it. Te last two TNG movies were not fan favorites, I didn't mind them personally.

I had almost forgotten about them, all that I could remember was data got blown up and replaced by a lesser version of himself. don't mess with the android .
