Failcast , never going to happen for me. Was going to build a dark eldar army awhile back, but the characters were made of that junk and all the ones at the shop were gak.

@vik, the challenge was to build something from plastic cards, cardboard or other stuff to look like cheese, so hopefully it won't smell bad. Although I do have some GW paint that smells like old cheese that's been getting a suntan for far too long.

I've never seen a finecast with bubbles myself.

They're still not perfect, but improved since the initial runs at least. Still hit and miss it seems though.

It was a while back, but not wishing to take chances ordering them.

I think there's some bandwagoning going on with the finecast subject personally, but I suppose it's understandable. GW always seems to rub everyone raw in one way or another.

Well GW is dropping finecast as a product supposedly, so there's more than just bandwagoning , but I'm sure there is some too. I dislike bandwagoning, its no that I fall off so much, its that I get pushed off more often than not

It is a bit soft, compared to plastic or resin. Swords and little bits seems fragile. I'm still a fan of metal myself though for character models, but plastic is easiest for conversions.

Games always seemed more civil back in the day of metal models too. Not sure if it was because we were tired from carrying the armies around, or more worried that our opponents might chuck a metal dreadnought at our heads I we were unsportsmanlike

Well, because when you took the time to paint your army, you were more invested in it, rather than just gluing together a mathematical plastic army for winning...

With Khadrovia so far from the Tanith and Sabbat worlds, they could not be the Tanith first and only could they if I have them?
