This is something i have thought about with the new DA dex. I think the BA close combat abilities would compliment well with the DA shooting abilities. I do not have a BA dex so i would love to see other peoples take on this idea. Thanks.

I'm not sure what all the DA can do, unfortunately. If you want close combat, Space Puppies might be better.

They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Two ideas come to mind with BA+DA:
Shield of Angels on the Dark Shroud that gives 4+ cover save to everything in a 6" bubble... supports a Fast BA Mech Line.
Power Field on the DA HQ's special issue War Gear gives a 4++ save to anything within a 3" bubble... I like this in conjunction with a Bastion to make a BA Mech Line thats defensive and geared for long range.

Ya ba and DA are sick together. You bring bikes and jump packs and things go away.
DC+ chappy= murder. The chappy makes dc soooo good.
What are you thinking of doing since both armies have tons of options that would go really well together.

The ravenwing form a wall of relentless bolter fire protected by the Darkshroud. The Libby and Priest join Dante and the SG as the deathstar unit deepstriking in wherever i need them and wrecking shop. They should be extremely tough to crack with 2+/4+/FNP and prescience attacks. Then the Dread, Attack bikes, and stormraven for anti-air/tank.
