KOW goblins, re the big shield rule. This looks like a great rule to apply to all goblin foot units, and is described as a "very large shield made with several planks of wood badly strung together is good protection for the lads" which makes total sense. BUT the forum and
KOW army list says that the only goblin unit that has this is the mincer. Now I can see how the mincer has the big shield 'effect' but there's no "planks of wood etc" so, why go to so much trouble to describe the rule if it CANT apply to other goblin units?

Lagoon83: @agtfos - Yep, that's just the mincer. The rule was written before the model was sculpted, and we ended up going with whirly blades instead of wooden planks. As for why it's the only model with the rule... You can ask Alessio when he turns up!

daedle: Whoever was asking about Baldr's armoured battalion, it's 1420 points without any upgrades. You could easily get that to 1600 points with hem, or with a single extra unit. I recommend a couple more cannons.

KS do is make each launch way bigger than we could without it. All the extra scenery for DZ is a great example. Instead of 2 sprues then more 12 months later - we can have 6 sets of diffeerent tiles within months of the main game launch.
KS really helps us make bigger and more fun games and systems.
