I get more of an 'alien' vibe from it than anything else, really.
...Which might explain why someone would figure it for a carnifex

Azazel looks like a rhino to me.

My own two cents with regards to the M7 Paladin, I'd bet that it belongs to the American faction. The overall styling looks more high-tech than the German stuff, which seems to be keeping in line with what's been shown of the American equipment. Plus, there's the fact that the thing uses the "M" designation like US tanks do and the fact that the name is in English (though to be fair, so is the Leviathan's name).

Quick question, were the Kriegsmarines supposed to be getting plastic figures as well? Anyone know what the difference is between one of them and an Eisenkern Stormtrooper (besides design)?

Aside from the design differences, I'm pretty sure the Kriegsmarines don't have the bounce pack for doing HALO/Suborbital drops. Look at their backpack, it looks like they have thruster vents.
I'd bet they're used in ship-to-ship warfare in space. Pretty sure there is space travel to planets in a solar system in the IC universe.

I wouldn't suggest otherwise, and it not like Mark is the type that's already started more Kick starters.

No, no - the 15mm is the TINY Morti. The 28 is the little (to me) one
Drat, now you have me wishing I was able to pledge for the 15mm version as well.

I'm currently painting a 15mm Crusader for the WGF/Dreamforge GenCon display. This thing is sick, every little detail that is on the large version is on the smaller one. There was some concern expressed by someone (might have been on another site) that the circuitry details on the sword were soft and I want to put those fears to rest- the details are exquisite and paint up just as easy as the big guy.

I had to build it without instructions as they're not done yet, but it went together pretty smoothly as it follows the large version closely. That said there are a few components that have been combined and tweaked (especially in the hydraulics), and be warned there are some parts that go on in different order and lock in place earlier- so you need to take it slow and dry fit.

Sorry, not allowed to post pics until after GenCon

I would love to have about twelve of these 15mm kits stalking over the table. Move over, Adeptus Titanicus.

Dose know how much the 15mm will cost when they hit the market? I didn't get in on any of those and considering them now.

I'd like to know myself. I think a lot of people intend to use the 15mm Crusader as a Dreadknight, which I believe is around $50. I hope it is $50 or lower but I wouldn't count on it. I think it has about half as many sprues than the larger version, if that makes a difference in how they set prices.

I'd seriously consider buying twelve if they're in the $50 range, I think it would be a spectacular convention game.

BTW if you want 15mm Eisenkern, take a look here:

I painted one up (a SAW gunner) and it looks like a very good proxy.

Awesome. Some of those bits were REALLY small and tricky to work with on the full sized Levi, I dreaded dealing with them at the smaller scale.

So, if one were going to Gencon, would one be able to see the 15mm Crusaders on display? If so, where would one go to see that?

It might, I've been unemployed for a while, and already have the big version and a resin version. I have enough saved for a Mortis, but curious for the smaller price. I have all the weapon arms coming as well. With three kids my budget for hobbies is small, less than $20.00 ever couple weeks.

Sorry mate, I didn't want to drive it in like that. I can't imagine having kids, I barely have a hobby budget as it is right now, and I work close to full time.

No worries, I just have to look how I spend. I just wish cool companies would work out time releases better, dreamforge, Paulsongames, and others are all releasing great stuff right now.

If GW had any sort of a real effort at Gen Con that might mean something, but yeah, Forgeworld is over at 1835 next to MERCs.

The the first two times we were at Gen Con we had booths in that area and had to explain to people that 'Yes, the exhibitor hall does go to that high of a booth number.'
