Totally agree, which is also why WGF probably paid for some of the molds (the exclusive freebies come to mind)

Errr... not quite. It's my second /Crusader/ from wave 1. I figure I'd feel stupid if I didn't have it done up or at the very least assembled by the time my wave 2 arms got here... Monday >.>;

Also I need to get everything assembled and primed ASAP. I probably only have 1-2 weeks of temperatures above 50F left which is the bare minimum I need to spray paint my base coat. (I have to paint outside on my balcony. I live in a small apartment and choking myself out with fumes is highly counter productive.)

Maybe you should invest in a basic airbrush and silent compressor?

That's a lot more money then a $6 can of spray paint. Maybe if I actively decide to teach myself how to paint with an airbrush for my entire process.

Or at least get a big box and plastic dust sheet to protect things from the overspray, and a cheap dust mask to protect your lungs, then you'd be able to spray indoors?

Spray can fumes are pretty foul and toxic - and linger badly enough outside. I can't imagine wanting to spray indoors.

Love my Mortis and its arms. The claw and the chainsword are my favorite arms.

I built my Mortis this weekend and I came away with two issuses. The pistons on the mid-section and on the heels are a bit too short. SO are the pistons on the scythe. If you move it too far in one direction they pop out. Also, I found a few errors with the instructions.

Can't wait for the ripper and battle cannon arm to go on sale!

Is the scythe ever gonna be for sale solo? I would be the ever loving HELL out of that.

I also found that issue with the pistons on on the torso, ankles and sword arm but they are minor in my opinion. I did get my Wave 1+2 shipment the other day and I love the Nova Cannon and HEL Cannon arms.

If the hydraulics were any longer I think the range of motion would be restricted in the opposite direction. It would be nice to have a 'stop' or catch to keep the pistons from popping out but I've not tried come up with a way to do that.

i got my two 4.5" leviathans last monday, but that was all that arrived. am i mistaken that there were supposed to be capacitor coolers, excal swords and off-hand chainguns for these as well?

the kickstarter page is somewhat difficult to understand, as i had split pledges (full sized leviathan wave 1, and two 4.5" levis wave 2) on exactly what extras i should expect.

wanted to ask here before i emailed mark and wasted his time. thanks ~

Marks aware of the capacity to coolers missing, not ure if he other stuff was wave two, I know the alternate weapons for the mini were stage 3 though. Hope that helps. You can shoot an email to dfg@wargamesfactory.com with use tigon or problems with your order.

The 4,5" 15mm scale get the capacitor coolers and sword but not the left hand Vulkan.

I am working with WGF on getting out the capacitor coolers and the left had armor for some weapons.

Just popped out from work to pick up my mini-viathan from the post office (charged £13.51 by the robber barons that are HMRC) no Excalibur or coolers but very disappointed to have to go to work and not get to build this.

I haven't seen them on any retailers websites yet, and I've had my eye out for that for a mini, called thewarstore yesterday and Neal had no word on them yet. Haven't called miniature market yet, but I prefer Neal as I'm in the same state as miniature market so I have to pay sales tax.

I think they just started shipping into the supply chain. so the distributors may be getting them late this week and the retailers likely mid next week?

I just received my first copies of the weapon arms today.... How about that, most backers had theirs before I had mine

Just a note on the screw, I thought they did not pack them but I found them in one of two places:
1) The sprue with the arm and arm armor has a little injected package with a lid. This is where it is placed at the factory, they put the crew in the small container attached to the sprue and put a little lid on it.
2) The lid seems to come off the container more often than not, and I as able to find the screw in the bag floating loose on all but one of the arms.


I will take a shot once I find my camera.... it is still packed somewhere after the move to my new home.

I was going to ask you what that was. You're right, all of mine had popped, but I found the screw jiggling in the bag, but I was thinking... did I assemble them correctly?

All four arms are assembled and painted. I just have to weather them, finish the plasma or laser effect and I should have more pictures on my blog.

I know exactly he piece your talking about. Sadly still no hidden screw inside, I kept those thinking they are some type of ammo of ration storage box.

Mark, let me just go on record here for thanking you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such a stand-up guy. Delays and other small hiccups aside, you've been with all of us every step of the way as you gave virtual birth to you first plastic litter of pups and I'm proud to have been a part of it.

I said it in the Mantic thread and I'll say it here; you are the poster boy for how a kickstarter should be run. We've laughed, we've cried, now we've got piles of plastic crack to play with.
