They tracked down the issue with the button not showing up on some browsers... Please let me know if you are still having any issues logging in.

Ok, that's sorted that issue. However, I still only get to put in a number of how many sets I want IF I tick the box that states I want early delivery.

I don't want early delivery, so I have no way of asking for only 2 of the 4 sets I am technically owed as the drop down section only appears after you tick the box for early delivery.

It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Hmm, is there anyone to get in touch with if you don't have you log on information anymore (the email it's being sent to isn't working anymore so not receiving anything from WFG anymore). I would like the armor plates for half the arms I ordered (only 2 sets so not that much, but still, annoying if they aren't there).

Mark put this in the latest update:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dreamforge-games/something-wicked-this-way-comes-crusader-plastic-m/posts/694311

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I will assist wherever I can. You can leave a message below or send me a message here and I will reply ASAP.

By "send me a message here" I believe he means through the "contact me" link on the Kickstarter page (which is visible at the link I copied above). He'd just be acting as a go-between for WGF, I believe, though... so there may be a more direct way. But this is the way he posted in the update so it shouldn't hurt to ask that way

This may come off as obvious but it's worth saying anyway

when you do message Mark give him all the info you can so

your KS id & email address for the campaign

plus whatever ID and email address you used to register on the WGF

and your delivery address

the more info he has the easier it will be for him to gest stuff done

You've been a busy little DFG! Very nice Mark ; ) Are those swords going to be clear/blue acrylic? Seeing them in the full on teutonic colours is very nice, I've always liked those.

Is that "box art" meaning they have pretty much run a few test shots of the sprues and they know how much space they'll need for the kit?

Not yet, they are working on the mold splits, the renders are test renders (not actual box art) so I can see if the textures look good and make tweaks before we get to crunch time. The moment we get a T1 I will be posting an update SOOOO much more goes on than most people know, from start to finish the actual CAD model creation is only a very small part of the effort and time for each kit, far more than I ever realized before going through the process.

This makes it difficult for me and I am sure others with an artistic bent to stay focused. I like to deal with a model and complete it while the mood is working with me. Having to go back and handle/make changes to the same model 5-10 times by the time we are at the finish line is tedious and disruptive, but unfortunately necessary.

I feel like I can finally understand this. I am in the middle of launching a new product at work, and this week has been discussion (more like a fight) of just getting packaging figure out. The actual development time of the product was like a week (I got lucky there), and it has been 2 months since then just to get a test package together.

The renders look good. I hope to have money sometime in my life to be able to purchase some!

Does that shot show the blades will be clear blue?

I really doubt it, it's a render so probably just the computer way of showing a glowing blade.

Can clearly see part of the model on the right through it which is why I was curious. Would be great if it was. Those who don't like it can easily paint over it, but it could look good.

More very cool figures, really thinking about picking up some assualt troopers. Clear blue blades would only add to the wickness of these figures.

Sadly, I suspect the clear blue effect is just that: an effect, rather than how the final model will be.
Although, it does look really cool and I, too, would like clear blue blade inserts now.

C'mon, Mark, give us blue blades instead of blue balls!

What if it meant the whole arm had to be clear blue? The parts are too small to just do a blade. It would mean an extra mold and more steps in running the kit and packaging, more chances for things to go wrong. I need to talk it over a bit before I can say yes or no.

Something to think over for a heavier power armor then? Maybe for some smaller mechs? If the Assault Troops' swords were cast as parts separate from the arms, I imagine it would be doable.

Them being a clear acrylic was out of the blue so if we get them it's clearly a bonus and I'l be happy with plain old plastic regardless, so I'm easy either way.

Seeing the Valkir in Teutonic Colours... I have fireforge teutonic sergeants and knights on my unbuilt wall of shame... they'd make a great PDF IG regiment with Eisenkern stormtrooper elites and Valkir allied space marines. Crusader or Mortis Knight/Warhound titans done in Teutonic livery... Glad I bought so many stormtroopers, I need them for so many things ; )

I am so glad I have 10 Assault troopers coming. I'm on pins and needles to see the Black Widows too! Regardless of Mark hooking us up with a coupon or something at the end of fulfillment I'm getting a 20 man Valkir box and two more squads of Widows.

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long

Maybe save the clear blue weapons for one of the alien races. Might make them stand out and be more.....alien.

Yeah, I'll throw in my 5¢ and say I don't think we need you to seriously consider the blue arms if it means you can deliver and beat the Australian increase in tariffs for import.

As in my experience translucent plastics dont work with plastic cement, I'd vote no. I'd rather the arms be securely glued on.

If it were possible to make the blades a separate piece that would slot into the hilt of the sword, then it could work. But if the whole sword (or more) would have to be the clear plastic, that wouldn't work as well, because that makes it harder to prime and paint the rest of the sword without getting any paint on the blade. It's certainly one of those awesome ideas that took off with us (that I'm sure was a surprise to Mark when I bet he only thought he was just giving the art a neat effect), but I can see how implementing it would be difficult and cost prohibitive.

Besides, while it looks cool in the art, would it look as good on the table?
