Mild seasons?? it was balls cold, windy and fairly snowy (for this region) last night... the day time high was around 25 F (which is quite high when compared to places like, say, Fargo ND)
And I may be off, but I thought that the Gay virus came from Canada, since you know, they ration healthcare and all, so it goes untreated, and some how makes its way down here

By conflating nonsense with a serious point it makes it look as if you are attempting to defend reactionary bigotry by low mockery.
I am sure that is a position you would not genuinely wish to espouse.
Perhaps I didn't view it as a serious point, then. I can't, for example, take the stuff about political correctness and the subjugation of women at all seriously, and I really hope you weren't trying to actually make that point, because it's pretty crazy.

I am absolutely serious about it.
Think of Tennessee in 1955.
Women were stuck in the kitchen.
"Coloureds" knew their place.
Evolution was illegal to be taught in schools.
etc.
The current anti-gay and other legislation is all aimed at turning the clock back to that time.

Believing that some people use PC as a coverword for not having to man up and accept that they're racist bigots is crazy? I hate to say it, but you're the one who appears out of touch to me.

I'm sorry, but "crazy" is not politically correct terminology. We prefer "alternative conceptualizer" in this day and age.
I don't particularly buy that not believing someone who dislikes the culture of political correctness, or doesn't like the government mandating that birth control be covered in private insurance plans, is in fact wanting to return to segregation and subjugate women. I think it's an asinine attitude to take.

Sorry man, but PC really has nothin to do with race... for example, because of PC, i can no longer say someone is fat, slow (as in they cant run fast), stupid, or a complete moron. Because of PC, we have to give a participation ribbon toevery loser kid in a race, and quite often, its the same size as the first place ribbon!
None of the things I've listed make me racist, just a pissed off person who'd rather people know exactly where they stand with me in no uncertain terms.

Nor is it anywhere near a large enough sample size to make such a sweeping declaration as, "People who have issues with political correctness, gay marriage, abortion, and immigration view women and minorities as the cause of all modern problems." It's disingenuous at best.

1. I didn't say that.
2. It's not that small a sample of nationally notable politicians. 1,000 to 2,000 people is enough for a valid survey of the entire US population, I have been led to understand.
(It could be argued that those two guys were a self-selecting sample...)

Its is kinda Bigoted.
Bigot:
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bigot
And whose to say god created the first humans? It could have been Shiva or other gods who created mankind

Of course it's not racist, unless you compound idiocy with ignorance. It is, however, very bigoted. And wrong. And not any better founded morally ; I doubt the mass incest necessary to populate the world would be any more ethical then homosexual sex.
And it seems very probable that there would be a relation between the propension to be a racist moron and the propension to be a bigoted moron. Of course it would need to be studied and proved, but it's definitely not a senseless hypothesis.

You know this actually might be a good thing for the kids. If they're all relocated to a school for likeminded people that would likely solve the bullying problem, as well as allowing them to be themselves. Calling it "Straight Camp" may just be a way of appeasing those in the community who wouldn't want a school for gay kids. I think gay kids would love it.

Generalgrog stands up for his principles. I like him for that, even if I disagree with what he says.
Technically, however, the "Adam and Steve" theory is a religious one and so it would be illegal to make a law based on it, due to freedom of religion.

Because it would not make it easier for bully to simply target kids when they aren't supervised (i.e. out of school) because they know they go to gay school.

My second high school had the regions specialized art school in it's basement. We also had the regions specialized drama and broadcasting programs. We were considered the gayest school in the region. Frankly, you were more likely to get beaten up for hating gays then you were for being one. We had more than a hundred of them. The LBGT club was freaking huge, and it worked. I can't recall a single case of my 4 years there were a person was beaten up for being gay. Or even teased to a degree that was greater than most people got at one point or another. And frankly, as long as they made the gay school optional I think it could be a great success. When you go to a different highschool, especially one with a very differeing social culture, you stop mixing with people outside of that high school's social circles. That would likely help a lot with the teasing and bullying, as one would have a large support group of likeminded and experienced peoples. Now I know that the reason that this bill is being implaced is quite different from what I am envisioning, but the idea without the misguided motives may actually hold some water.

That's your opinion.
I find it incredibly immoral to lie to kids that may be having sexual identity issues by telling them that may have been "born gay". Hollywood and the cult of political correctness has done a great job of brain washing a generation. And if you think that the pedophiles and zoophiles don't make the same arguments that homosexuals do you haven't done enough reading.
