Has anyone seen if they're going to be doing any renders and models for the Capitol faction?

My guess is they are waiting to hit 80k first.

Well, still probably too early to tell whether it's a troll, but we may have just hit £80k. I think someone scooped up the Cardinal pledge level. Well, I get to sleep soon, hopefully I'll get to wake up and it wont have dropped down by a few thousand.

Today we unlocked Capitol! Big Bob Watts and his forces from the starter set are being 3D rendered as I write! We should be able to share in a couple of days.

So now we can announce that Mitch Hunter will be our £85k Stretched Goal! He is a Warzone favourite and we are really looking forward to seeing him in action very soon!

And finally, please see the image of the Undead Legionnaires below. The new guns and shoulder pads will now come in the starter sets and their Add-on boxes. We hope you like them (the additions for the other starters will be announced later today....

Just wow I'm looking so forward to get my warzone minis and build them.

They said the Capitol were going onto the render phase as soon as it unlocked. I would expect to see at least Big Bob Watts by the end of the weekend. They must have had concept sketches ready (hence the teaser) this could go down quickly in the next few weeks as the campaign winds down.

Yes there are indeed annoying folk who pledge then pull back

either because they are desparate to see what the next stretch goal is (annoying, but at least they're interested in the project)

or just to wind people up

(but project creators can see who pledges what, when so if somebody repeatedly does it they can be reported to KS who will talk to and/or ban them)

Ah, ok, at least there is a mechanism to curb their behaviour.

I can understand someone pulling a pledge as a project develops, because the aesthetics stop appealing to you, or RL hitting you with financial problems, but people using up big pledges just to "see what's next"... sounds exactly like the kind of stuff kids in school would do. Can't wait, want to see the goodies now!

Yeah, a week or two back there was a £5k bump that was pulled back almost immediately (I think it jumped the project from £65k to £75k). But considering that I think this pledge is the Cardinal level (and thus requires a modicum of communication between Prodos and the pledger) we are probably safe at this point.

But now that someone has taken on the Cardinal level, I wonder what extra unit we will see from that pledge level.

I don't think we'll even see it during the course of the kickstarter. Designing a unit from scratch, I assume, must take a long time. And they don't seem to have unlimited manpower.

Sadly I do not think we will see Free Marines for awhile. They have teased Maritan Banshee's which will most likely be unlocked with the 90K stretch goal. The 100K vote is just a special character, I suppose we will see what 105 and 110 bring.

A painted Razid went up on FB. I really dig the model but the paint job is far from the Everassur, i dont think its official.

You know, with each new render I see, I find it harder and harder to figure out what I want to do with my second starter set. Do I get Dark Legion, or Cybertronic? With the latest Dark Legion renders, I'm really warming up to them. But Cybertronic's redesigns are really appealing to me as well. Granted, I think far cooler stuff is available as add-ons for Cybertronic than what's in the starter, but they're really cool looking. Or, do I ditch the second starter all together and expand my Bauhaus forces? Damn this is a tough choice.

Aside from the model itself not being near bulky enough, it is a nice model and the paint scheme is pretty accurate to what I remember razides are supposed to be colored. Red fading to blue on the hands. A real pain in the butt to do back in the day when I first started painting when first ed was out.

Looks plenty bulky compared to a Legionnaire. The angle on the UL is a bit high, but from this, the Razide's forearm is nearly the width of the Legionnaire. I think the main difference is it finally has legs in proportion to the rest of its body and it is actually tall now rather than having Vince's crippling mini-leg condition.

I like it, though is it me or do his legs seem too small/torso seem too long? It's a WIP, though. Glad they revamped the silly-looking shoulder cannons.

He feels like he is in proportion but i would have liked all the minis a little bigger a across the range.

Concept art looks perfect! Wouldn't change a thing from that one! Like the more military loose pants style to.

I would make the Cigar bigger, and make it look like the bracers are a part of the minigun for support like in the concept art.

Optional shoulder pads might not be a bad thing? (For thows looking for a more classic look.)

lol tell me about it. I'm doing the 3 starterset level so torn between Bauhaus+Dark legion with the 3rd set used as credit for add-ons, Bauhaus+Capitol with the 3rd set used for add ons, or just get a large Bauhaus force.

I think his quads could be bulkier, to give him a more balanced look. Let them bulge out to the side just a bit more.
