Coverart for Brushfire 2.0 Digest is in, we're doing some final tweaking and sending it off to print in the next few days. Once the proof is in and approved we'll put it up for sale.

So likely before the end of the month.

When will this alternate earth troll sculpt be for sale? Shown at GenCon but I apparently walked right by it!

Will definitely be picking that up

Before the end of the year.

Bubbles on the back of the one hand, and weird tumors on it in some spots.

PERFECTION, THAT'S WHAT!

Yea, there was an issue with the mold itself having little bubbles in it that caused resin tumors on the model. Some of them I tried to file/cut off to get a usable master, but no luck.

Also, the hands were a real bear to get bubbles out of. The arms almost certainly need to be removed to cast properly. It is a great looking model though, I totally love it!

I must just be blind then haha but I looked over them, and was like, "I don't see what's wrong with them. Oh well, free models "

I have to agree. The alt earth troll looks very nice, plus I just won a battle this weekend with an earth troll in my party which makes me want one even more.

I periodically find myself perusing these forums or the OTLG site and wondering if Changsu Dun is out yet, if I can rationalize ordering a gecko rider, or how well the will-o-wisps will translate from art to figure. I have to keep reminding myself that I have plenty of stuff already ordered I'll have an original earth troll, gels, hyenas, etc. to worry about when I get my stuff, then a couple months down the road I can look into picking up some of these new pieces along with some Endless duplicates and random Brushfire. I just need to remember to pace myself.

I'm tempted by the Army of the Black Flag, the stuff in it looks great.

Unfortunatly OTL is cutoff from my hobby budget until I receive my Endless Fantasy Kickstarter stuff.

I don't have an end date for the Black Flag deal just yet.

I think Black Friday/Holiday time will see several more deals of the same sort, should there be interest for that sort of thing.

While I'm always interested in army deals, OTL Games stuff isn't in the budget until I get my EFT Kickstarter stuff. Having the opportunity to purchase the stuff at Gencon stroked a raw nerve with me...

Selling Endless at Gencon was a tough decision for us. We only brought a handful of models that we had casted in excess of the number needed for backers, and we chose not sell any model types that had not shipped to at least one backer.

To ensure we get models to every customer, we have begun split shipping, including a free Minor Demonite to each backer in their first shipment, and a free Dark Knight in their final shipment.

The last of the first split shipments should be going out by week's end, and final shipments beginning the week after.

I back Kickstarters (115 to date) for fairly selfish reasons. I enjoy having stuff first, I enjoy having overly produced stuff and I enjoy having exclusives. Sometimes I'll back a project because I either like the creators or truely want to see something come to life. More often then not I back purely because of whats in it for me.

I have no problem with kickstarters being late. I have no problem with lack of communication from project creators. I don't even have a problem with sub-standard rules.

What really bothers me is when my selfish reasons for backing a kickstarter are taken away from me. Especially when I either loose esclutivity or I'm not the first too have new shiney stuff.

I'll be the first to admit that my reasons are petty but it's one of the few ways to actually piss me off.

Perfectly understandable, and I'm sorry to have pissed you off.

Its not much, but you are getting the dice that are exclusive to the Kickstarter; the Minor Demonite* and Dark Knight are not available to anyone else yet.

*Okay, technically I did bring 3 of the MD to Gen Con.
