I'm starting to pay attention to what is a mercenary. A couple units of Mercs would make it much easier to dabble in multiple armies. I like the gator, along with a gecko rider or two, and Tajir if I need to come up with more gold. All good models, and all mercs able to fit into most any army.

Its almost as if we planned things all along with the 'Well I've already got X unit as Mercs.. if I just get Y I can run them a proper Z Army!' thought.

Amazing!

Is it bad that my first thought upon seeing Lyra was that she is on the wrong base. With a second look I can tell that she is just puttied there, probably for the picture.

I've always preferred the flat 40k round bases to the lipped ones, but that is rather off topic.

The model looks great. It has some real character to it.

Will have to pick her up in my next order if she is out in time!

This might have been asked, but what is the scale of Brushfire minies?

Non-scale, but 30mm terrain/accessories is usually best.

Got the last of Loxy's molds done, so here is my complete figure:

Around 5.25 Inches tall not including the base.. which is big enough that I had to buy a new display case for our convention booths.

Those beastmen look wicked! Everything is looking good. With all the cool Endless releases how will I ever get around to Brushfire? Loxodon looks impressive, but I'll want a decent Zabar force before thinking seriously about him. Kardaxx and Changsu Dun still tempt me too.

Those Beastmen and Legion are awsome looking!

Not that big a fan of the face on the female Dragoon but I can appreciate it as a model.

Those beastmen look different than the one I have. Is it a new model? Is it a two-in-one kind of model? Is it comes with the neat base?

Yes, it's a new model. The previous one proved to be too difficult to consistently cast, so we had to get it resculpted. I think there are like 6 casts of the old one floating about.

New model makes either the laborer or the engineer, and includes the cards for both. No special basing.

Whoa, those beastmen look good. Do you have an unpainted pic?

Might decide to give my 2 Earth Trolls (the original, and the alternate one that I got from Alfndrate ) some company on my shelf

Ostensibly I've been thinking of using either as a counts-as ogre for my chaos dwarf earthshaker cannon, but your Endless releases have continued to impress. Brushfire has not as much, to me, but Endless is a much better game for your model in that it requires less models to play. So I think you guys have been heading in the right direction with Endless!

Thanks for the complements, guys- Glad to see these guys are well received!

@Cat: I definitely understand about not liking the Dragoon's face. I must admit I failed to do the model justice in that regard. My skills are lacking in some regards, particularly in painting female faces, and its something I really need to improve. Take it from me, though- the sculpt is far more amazing than I make it look

@WhiteRoo: The base, though not standard, is actually a pretty easy build. I just took some square wooden dowels and split them with my knife, then the rails are miniature plastic I-Beams bent to follow the ties.

@RiTides: I don't have any unpainted pics (unusual for me, as I take pictures of -everything-), but I betcha Cyp might have one. If not, wait a bit and Ill be ordering a beastman or two of my own and shoot that!
