I'm glad pose on the knight was kept simple to match the picture. The sword is my favorite part of the model, but it all comes together nicely.

How hard is it going to be to remove the hair on that model?

PERFECTION, THAT'S WHAT!

Yea, there was an issue with the mold itself having little bubbles in it that caused resin tumors on the model. Some of them I tried to file/cut off to get a usable master, but no luck.

Also, the hands were a real bear to get bubbles out of. The arms almost certainly need to be removed to cast properly. It is a great looking model though, I totally love it!

Well hopefully there's a way to get the hands to cast correctly, as it looks like there's a lot of interest in this one

I think we'll get it to work out, we just haven't really focused on it just yet as we're devoting the majority of the molding time to the initial EFT figures + Cult of Exomorphism.

We've just setup Pot #3, and Pot #4 will be ready to go soon, so that will greatly increase our production speed. When we get back from TWSW we should be able to get started on the next couple of EFT models, and those Brushfire greens that have been sitting around.

Not exceptionally difficult, provided you can do a bit of gs work to cover up the void thats left on the back of the head and shoulders. The cape is a separate piece that slots underneath and around the hair, so you still may want to leave a bit of it, then cover it as you rebuild the top area of the cape.

Other than that, theres no reason it couldn't be removed with a bit of careful exacto cutting, if you were so inclined.

(back to lurking and painting I go... )

Changshu, Hua and Lao Should be shipping out next week. We'll have a small number of them with us at TheWarstore Weekend this weekend though... not that that would help you much

The Dragoon will be later in the month.

I'll definetly add a Changshu Dun to my next order. So just don't run out of them until then.

I need to finish building and painting thirty-something BF minies first.

Cyp, I'm really digging the art styles we're getting with Miniature Mistress and Rollin' All Ones. Can we expect/see Miniature Mistress tackling Tajir?

Tom is right. Looking at the picture of Poi Kay I can see the photo doesn't do that red or green any favors. The NMM is also fantastic and fits in with the style. Good stuff.

Also the sculpts are just boss. This is quality stuff. If only it was Aquitar...

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary."

The other sculpts look pretty good, I think... but I am not at all a fan of the rabbit sculpt :-/. The head looks like a fake / doll rabbit, whereas the other animal heads tend to be a little more realistic looking.

ATM, I'm not planning on having Elizabeth do anything that Ramos has done, or vice versa. They'll both be tackling new things for some time.

We've got a new sculptor doing a couple of Aquitarans ATM, but they likely won't be ready before Christmas as we've got a bit of a backlog of greens to get through.

I'm okay with this, they both have a nice style that is working really well for the minis they've been tackling, and hot diggity is that NMM awesome

Its fascinating to see other people's styles start to come through in their painting. I almost want her to take on a Tajir, just so I can see how it takes shape!
She's making me want to try doing a bit of NMM, myself. It really does work well for the models.

Also, Cyp.... I want... no, I -need- that dragoon...
Seriously, like, several of them xD
Totally excited to see her reappear!

Slowly. We've got the files for the Ashigaru, but the models are too detailed for the company we wanted to use to produce them atm (They are working on getting a larger/better machine with no ETA). We're currently shopping around for a replacement factory and waiting on a couple of quotes to come in from US/UK firms.

So we're finally getting back in the swing of things after TWSW, and today seems to be 'Sculptors send pictures to me' day...

So it looks like we'll have two Aquitaran Characters coming out before Christmas, and possibly a Scyzantine Exemplar...

The fellow working on the Aquitarans is going to be doing Vandal characters next...

I think narrowing the shoulders to be more inline with the waist would be the way to go... Also is that a chain around his waist?

I don't see him in my book.
