This question just came to me, did the eldar have any interaction with the three older chaos gods or their servants before Slaanesh tore them a new one?

The Eldar call them the Dark Gods. They don't worship them, but they definitely fear them.

In the strangeness of the warp Slanneesh never existed/always existed. Likewise, the other chaos gods were always there but nowhere near as malevolent.
Khorne did claim that the eldar god khaine was an aspect of himself, and Slaneesh did absorb many of the eldar gods, but they are still around in the warp in a way, since time has no meaning there.
Prior to the birth of slaneesh, the other chaos gods were still around but did not act so aggressively. It wasn't as big a deal to get involved, and they didn't try as hard to corrupt and claim everything. They also had to compete with the old ones and the eldar gods.

The Eldar before the fall did not fear ANY of the chaos gods though. The Eldar had already encountered the other three Daemons of the Warp in their travels through Warp Space, but thought themselves too strong-willed and technically advanced toe be endangered.

"Khorne is a noble warrior who respects strength and bravery, who takes no joy in destroying the weak, and considers the helpless unworthy of his wrath. It is said that fate will spare any brave warrior who calls upon Khorne's name and pledges his soul to the blood god. It is also said that Khorne's daemons will hunt down and destroy any warrior who betrays his honour by killing a helpless innocent or murdering in cold blood..."

Idiocy on their part. Had they taken notice of the power of Chaos, they might have avoided the Fall. Typical Eldar arrogance.

Yep, that's it exactly. Eldar arrogance.

It is my interpretations that the other three Chaos gods were too nascent to be of any real concern at the time.
Citing Pg 4 of the C: Eldar
When the Eldar died their souls passed peacefully into the warp to be reborn again.
This (to me) implies that the warp was not home to anything of significant threat to the Eldar at the time.

too bad it took the creation of a Chaos God made from their departing souls to do it though. I guess if you are going to mess up though, you mess up good and proper.
I guess in a way they were right. It wasn't Khorne, Nurgle, or Tzeentch that actually rang their death knell, it was themselves. Automatically Appended Next Post: En Excelsis wrote:It is my interpretations that the other three Chaos gods were too nascent to be of any real concern at the time.

Yeah, it even says the Warp didn't have the hunger for Eldar souls that it does today.

This (to me) implies that the warp was not home to anything of significant threat to the Eldar at the time. Or they simply didn't care. The Fall of the Eldar destroyed most of the Eldar Gods but had no effect on the Powers of Chaos. Most likely, they already knew the Eldar were doomed; and unlike the Imperium who actively seeks to prevent the same thing from happening to Mankind, the Eldar didn't care or even consider the possibility of the Fall (most of them anyway), so the gods saw no need to intervene. Just patiently wait and let the Eldar damn themselves. EDIT: Chaos is life after all, and life has an innate tendency to Chaos. Even the Imperium and the post-Fall Eldar, for all their efforts, are just containing Chaos. The only way to truly destroy it, would be something like the oldcron C'tan had planned: sealing off the Warp from reality once and for all.

So for the unknown thousands or millions of years prior to the fall, when Eldar souls passed in and out of the warp the other three were doing what exactly?

Not millions of years. AFAIK, the Powers 'awoke' during M2. Afterwards, they steadily built their power, expanded their influence, and waited. In any case, time is meaningless in the Warp. The moment they 'awoke', they have always existed, even before they actually 'awakened'.
