Possibly, but that doesn't stop the Necrons.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

As said above and also if genestealers infiltrate commograh cant spell, then the dark eldars might be in trouble

Haemonculous would probably have a field day studing genestealers.

I recon dark eldar would have to act and help the imperium and eldar to stop the tyrannid invasion if it would seriously threaten their slave pool. Would be cool, story wise, vect mobilising commorragh to strike at the heart of hive fleet leviathan at just the right moment when terra and/or a bunch of craftworlds were on the brink.

Vect would just open a black hole at the hive fleets center and sit back and marvel at his own genius, ahh classic vect.

The argument about Slaanesh may not be valid if the Tyranids win - Chaos would die off if either the Necrons or Tyranids succeeded in their extermination of all other life in the galaxy.

In a way, those two races may actually be the DE's salvation - which gives rise to the thought, what if the DE could ally with them?

I don't think slaanesh will starve till after she eats all the dark eldar.

I agree with nom, if the nids do eat everything in the material universe then all those souls will go to the chaos gods, so they might die out but after eating all those souls they would else be very strong and could probably last a thousand or more years. Since the same may not be for the DE, for they live in the webway, which allows for Slaanesh to slowly drain their souls out, and also because they cant capture any new slaves, the DE might be drained before Slaanesh dies out completely.

But it is commonly known that DE took an enormouse amount of gene stealers from the first hive fleet to enter the galaxy back to use in gladiatorial arenas where the new tyranids became highly popular to use in the arenas. So if the tyranids were to eat the galaxy then would have a plethora of slaves to use.

Safe? I think not. If I was the hive mind, I'd make trashing Commor...however you spell it, a rather important priority and the tyranids ought to be one lictor feeding away from finding out where the city is and how to get to it. Heck, the orks got into the Dark City and messed it up a bit and they weren't even looking for it.

Nothing's foolproof, especially from the hive mind. You know what they said about Gryphonne IV.

Also where does it say Vect let them in? You must be thinking of that other raid where Vect did let them in, but that was by Salamanders.

It doesn't seem implausible for the Nids to develop some critter to get them into the webway. I mean, the Nids evoled the Doom of Malantai and nomed a Craftworld's Infinity Circuit, so webway travel doesn't seem that much of a stretch.
