Forge world are releasing new stuff all the time and 9 times out of 10 its a new space marine tank or armour. If you click on necrons i think they have 4 models in total. You could make so many awsom necron models. WHERE ARE THEY!!

IIRC Necrons are in the next IA, which may well be fairly soon.

However, I suspect adding more exclamation marks or caps would help to encourage them, of course.

Perhaps you could look in 40k discussion?

i could of put more caps + some one on here told me the next wave of forge world necrons are due out soon,,,, 6 months ago

I share your impatience (and probably I am the "someone" telling Necron will be released soon).

Five months ago, they showed us the following preview models, but not one of them got released, only Space Marines. Good news is that the IA 12 covering Necrons is at the printers ready and at the printer "soon", so I hope, it will not be another five months only with Space Marines. Even the 15th Baneblade variant would give some variety now

well i think forge world should bring out mark xxxxxvvvvvIIII first then maybe necrons. Lol + looking at them preview picks i hope they come up with something better than extra armour (i dont like the look of the scythes extra armour). Saying that i am loving that landscape

Well, the MKs are selling very well (individually and in support of the Horus Heresy rule book) and making them a lot of money, so I can see why they have been releasing them. There are still 3 Primarchs, the Loken vs Abaddon Diorama and a handful of options from the HH:Betrayal book to be released, so don't get too discouraged while waiting for the IA 12 to hit the store front.

i sat and contemplated which one it would belong in. its a 40k army however the discussion is about forge world not pulling thier fingers out and giving necron players more than 4 models to choose from and 4 cr@p models at that

i know on a business front these are forgeworlds biggest money makers. But i think they should even the field of options out. Theres another army with very limited options as well i cant remember which one though

i didnt say competative option. i meant even out the options. i meant space marines and IG have so many forgeworld models where a coupled of armys only have a few. Level the options out so each army have a roughly even number

At the back of the last WD there were images of the board section being worked on, the big square part is designed to have a pylon inserted and then there are tesla towers.

The thing is, they have to write a full book to justify adding new stuff. Fact of the matter is other armies make for better fluff. IG, Eldar, even Tau; they're all put in the IA books because their fluff is more dynamic.

I don't think they see any need to "even out" the options if it won't sell particularly well.

It does look awsom. No doubt it will be over £200. It looks like the necron villagers have built an exstension on a monolith

which is fully understandable. But i bet it looks like the necrons models dont sell very well (the reason for that is because it dosnt look like they put any effort into making the models, i mean a pylon, what next a telephone mast)

That's one of those "We'll know when/if we see it" rumors, sadly. End of February was the rumor, I believe.

You can have loads more death Korps stuff one necrons catch up. At this speed we will be in 40k wearing live forgeworld armour.

I too look forward to new FW necron goodness, i dont want OPness i want flavourful units that will enhance my armies look.

I find it sad what's happened to Forgeworld since they took on the horus heresy stuff. Sure, it's nice, but if you're looking for more Forgeworld stuff for regular 40k or Fantasy, youre going to be waiting a long time.

When they announced Betrayal, they said it wouldn't impact the Warhammer Forge or Imperial Armour releases, and each would have their own dedicated teams and schedules. Considering Blackfire Pass just got pushed back, and they aren't even close now to having all of Monstrous Arcanas monsters released (and were meant to be now), and Imperial Armour releases have slowed right down, it's obvious that either statement was crap when they made it, or is crap now because they've shifted studio members to the HH stuff.

Again, it's great if you want Horus Heresy stuff. If you don't, you're going to be waiting a lot longer than usual.

some different flyer options would be nice . either a transport with a turret flamer or a higher AV bigger scyth transport av11 but with the +2AV till pened shielding.

I'm really hoping for more Triarch stuff. I like the lore and fluff of the Praetorians, and they are probably my favorite models in the Necron Range.

You guys just got a new codex update and a bunch of new units, I shudder to think what Black Templar players feel like.

That's called broken, and 40k needs less of that going around. People are hesitant to play anyone using a vendetta, I doubt any one within ten miles would play against something like that. On a side not this why people are hesitant to play against or even allow FW stuff because they have the notion that everything from forge world is horribly broken and unbalanced.

Black Templar players have gotten quite a huge amount actually, thanks to a lot of HH stuff ending up in Imperial Armour.

I think necrons need what can only be described as a hard model. Because lets be fair the C'tan shard is not the best. People seem to think in the codex update that necrons are really good. All the hq's can be instant killed (dam force weapons) i know they get their ever living roll. But the odds of rolling that are not the best. the guass weapons are not the best. the tesla weapons allowing all armour save. Cr@p against grey knights with all the 2+ saves + tell me how an advance race or robots is initiative 2

did you not hear? the rumors are pointing to this year as featuring "the summer of necrons". should start sometime around sept.

Well i would agree if every player i come up against wasnt grey knights. I played a 2000pts game the other day and the only thing i killed was 1 terminator and 1 dreadknight. He killed my doomsday ark with his 4 d6 armour penetration with that pesky assassin. He then dropped 3 dreadknights in turn 2 right in the middle of my army and flamed the hell out of me with that flamer that can be placed anywhere within 12" of the weapon. Then he deep striked all his terminators right in front of me. However i did find out he cheated. He killed quite a lot of my troop of saying his dreadknight flamer auto hits on overwatch (i have recently read in the rule book flamers can not fire snap shot so dont get overwatch shots)

+ the main HQ imotekh makes night fighting come into play and the necrons dont really gain any benefits from that
