a yes wall of death. Thanks for that i was going to be ripping my mate off every game.

+ would you clear this up for me. if a cryptek was to shoot one of them flares up and its my turn first. Do the enemy then benefit from the effects of it as well (if you get what i mean)

Well i would agree if every player i come up against wasnt grey knights. I played a 2000pts game the other day and the only thing i killed was 1 terminator and 1 dreadknight. He killed my doomsday ark with his 4 d6 armour penetration with that pesky assassin. He then dropped 3 dreadknights in turn 2 right in the middle of my army and flamed the hell out of me with that flamer that can be placed anywhere within 12" of the weapon. Then he deep striked all his terminators right in front of me. However i did find out he cheated. He killed quite a lot of my troop of saying his dreadknight flamer auto hits on overwatch (i have recently read in the rule book flamers can not fire snap shot so dont get overwatch shots)

+ the main HQ imotekh makes night fighting come into play and the necrons dont really gain any benefits from that

Read the rulebook again. Template weapons get D6 auto hits in Overwatch. The only things in the game that can't overwatch are blast weapons and vehicles.

You're telling me. It would be nice to see Tyranid Apoc stuff brought up to scratch. Not only has there been nothing new since 4e, but half of what Forgeworld have made is either pointless (rippers, shrike wings) or has been superseded by GW kits (Trygon, Hive Tyrants). Everything is based on 4e special rules to boot, with references to ones that no longer exist or are very different.
Come on FW... there has to be something you can do. There are still plenty on untapped ideas in the old Epic range (Dominatrix!), plus some of the new plastic kits could get add-ons like the Carnifex has.

People are playing scyth wing and giving them different types of units would make it more fun for them to play . they would have more options , they could play with squads bigger then 10 man , they wouldnt suffer as much from tide or horde builds . FW should be given options to people already owning a GW army .making models that no one will buy , because they dont fit in to any army makes no sense to me.

besides do you know how hard it would be to actualy use a non torrent flamer from a scyth and how is the big flying transport without weapons different from the one new tau codex brings ?

I'm not sure where you heard that, I was under the impression that flamers can indeed overwatch.

Yeah, I was going to make the comment that Xenos tend to get ignored a bit from Forgeworld. More so now that they're paying so much attention to HH.

The Tau section has always confused me. Huge number of options, but most of them are stupid. The XV-9s are purchased with one weapon option instead of selling it with all three or as seperate bits. Really kinda silly. All the Kroot units are just silly. They're still offering a bunch of different suits with useless weapons/options tacked on. There is still some good, but they haven't really gotten anything in a while except the pdf and that just made a markerlight Heavy 4 vice Heavy1. I think my biggest issue with them is the old models they still offer for sale. They are just odd suits with nothing really special, but come in one build at an inflated price. If they just offered weapon bits or upgrade packs it'd be one thing, but they try to sell an entire crisis suit for just a suit with a markerlight.

I can't wait for models for prehersey Necrons and Tau. Sleeping Necron models and whatever primitive species the Tau evolved from. I'll take a hundred!

No, they have never said that.

I play Krieg and Crons.. I've been waiting for this next IA for so long since I saw what's in it at GD. But to be honest.. They need to round out all the xeno army's pretty bad.

Necron Night Shroud Bomber
The Night Shroud is a dedicated bomber that is larger than the more numerous Night Scythe and Doom Scythe craft, alongside which it operates, whose origins date back countless aeons to the lost battles of the War in Heaven.

The Night Shroud was built to carry a relic of that ancient and apocalyptic conflict, so-called Death Spheres, containment vessels that imprison the merest fragment of anti-matter. The Death Sphere's potent warhead is kept out of phase with the material universe until the sphere detonates, when it unleashes an energy blast capable of annihilating anything it touches.

Full rules and details in the forthcoming Imperial Armour 12: The Fall of Orpheus hardback.

I expect more Necron goodness will come out of the book too. Yeah the xenos forces don't get as much love from Forge World, but it is easy to bang out kits that use most of the parts of existing kits like land raider, predator and rhino variants. Chaos has a pretty expansive line these days, but again a bunch of those models are based on existing Space Marine models, like all the dreads, rhino and LR doors and even the chaos renegades parts for IG mini conversions...it is odd that FW doesn't sell the Tau combat suits like they sell dreadnoughts where you buy the main body and then pick and choose the weapon options you want for them.
