Well, I would probably get a Titan if a plastic one came out, but I would prefer a Thunderhawk. Maybe we will see a large Eldar kit?

They better bring their A+ game because the DreamForge Leviathan is a 5 star kit.

I'd love a Mars Pattern Warhound in plastic.

A Thunderhawk? Not so much.

Either way, probably too little, too late for me, as far as 40K is concerned.

Or would that be... too much, too late?

My plastic Dreamforge Leviathan is almost done... and there is nothing GW can do to make this kit better. Only worse.

Ball joints, fully articulated, easy swap alternate arms, space for electronics goodness, I tell you.

Pics in my blog soon to be added.

Apparently when the Baneblade and then Stompa were made they were test beds to see how well larger kits might sell; long story short, they were successful and larger kits are planned for most races according to my sources.

Races he mentioned were

Imperium
Space Marines
Eldar
Orks
Tyranids
and Tau

hope this helps a little as I wasn't told about any newer models except the continuous Warhound and possible T-hawk rumours.

Passing along as always (just now here)

They plan on telling a little more details later this weekend so I will update when I hear more.

Tau? The only things in that size range are the Tigersharks and Orcas, right?

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous

As of right now, yes...doesn't mean they won't retcon something in...and with the possible Codex around the corner, it opens up all sorts of possibilities. I'd be down for a plastic Tigershark kit, though...so long as it encompasses all the variants.

I'm just wondering because I didn't think either of those models reall sold well. I've never really looked too much into it though.

If they made a Tau suit to those scales, Kroothawk, I'd take buy them up in a heart beat.

They wouldn't have had to sell as well as 'standard' vehical kits, just well enough to pay for the tooling & turn a profit (and presuambly be more profitable than the FW equivalent where nessesary)

If this rumour is true, they're probably satisfied the various large kits could do that

(and if it frees up FW for more Horus Herasy stuff so much the better, i suspect)

Yeah, thunderhawk definitely more likely.

Probably extra chaos spikey bits too. That is if they don't design to build a fully fledged daemon engine.

Did anyone notice that the IA3 Second Ed. has Super-heavy Tau with No 6th Apoc Rules Appendix like IA1 Second ed, IA12, IAA

As I don't have the book, no, I didn't notice that.

But well spotted, if true! Leads credence to a new Apoc book, I suppose.

Updated Elysians in there? Interesting, makes it look less likely the old army lists will be updated online if they're putting them into these 2nd Ed. books. Not sure how I feel about that; how many elysian players want a book full of Tau stuff so they can use their army? The armoured company in the first 2nd ed book made sense (I bought it instantly) as the whole book is relevant and related; how many people, however, will want to spend what ends up at $100 after shipping, brokerage and such for an army list and pretty much nothing else?

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.
