I have a few questions regarding a question in the FAQ and another that I am not sure on.

Q: The Farseer Psychic Powers rules state that they do not require the
Eldar Psyker to have line of sight to the target. Does this mean that they
can be used by an Eldar psyker embarked on a Transport? (p28)
A: No.

Does this mean ALL Psychic powers such as Prescience? If I want to cast the power in my own squad that is in the tank aswell as the psyker can I do this or does the above FAQ stop this? Surely I can see my own squad in my own tank? I understand that you can't use Doom or Eldritch storm or the like but does it also include Guide and Fortune even if the unit I am casting the power on is in the tank with the psyker?

Another question I have is to do with crackshot on a Dark Reaper Exarch. I can re roll to wound, but if I am using an ADL with a quad gun, do I get to re roll armour penetration because of this? The reason I am asking this is because I see people saying that a crack shot exarch is great on a quad gun.

If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Only applies to the 5 Farseer powers. However, most people are fine playing that you can target your unit/transport in accordance with psychic powers rule (note that this is still a house rule)

Crack Shot does not get to re-roll armour pen. Most people who are putting a Crack Shot Exarch on a Quad-gun are using the Fire Dragon Exarch who also has the Tank Hunters power.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Thanks for telling me, I was mostly wondering about the powers as I have a tournament coming up and I was really wondering about that. Should I bring it up with a TO or say it to the person that I am playing?

Talk the TO ahead of time. They may rule against the FAQ and allow you to cast the power (treating as a power that requires LoS while embarked) or they may rule against the rulebook and nerf Farseers even more (unlikely but possible).

Look up the latest FAQ but even those got nerfed and require LOS now if I recall. Big thread about it a few weeks ago.

you cannot target a unit inside a transport with a pyschic power,

unless the psyker is also in the unit in the transport it can target the unit its inside with,

but only witch fires can be cast through fire points, so no blessing squads outside the transport if your psyker is inside it

Apparently I wasn't clear. If a Farseer is embarked in a transport he cannot cast any Farseer psychic powers. Most people allow an embarked Farseer cast Fortune/Guide on his unit/transport as per the rules for an embarked psyker.

On page 67:
Declare Target: If the psychic power requires a target, you must nominate it at this point. Unless otherwise stated, The psyker must have LOS to the target. This means the psyker embarked on a transport can only target himself, his vehicle, or another unit embarked on the same vehicle as the psyker.

I think that allows me to use Prescience or whatever rulebook power in my transport on my own unit inside it.

Prescience yes. Guide (because it does not require LOS) no.
