I would like to see a CoD remake. When CoD 1 was released it was amazing, I probably played the demo at least 10 times, and it really was a great FPS.
Its subsequent sequels have cheapened the entire franchise leaving it in its current risable state but a game that does back to basics should, in theory at least, be good.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

How about Majora's Mask? That game was awesome, imagine it with the WiiU's full graphics capability...and VOICE ACTING!
I really, REALLY want the Happy Mask Salesman to croon "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" in the creepiest voice possible.
Also, the original Mega Man games, but with 3D Graphics (keep the gameplay 2D though) and the difficulty cranked way, way down. I mean, damnit, I know retro games are hard (too hard if you ask me) but Mega Man just takes the biscuit. When the first enemy in the game is more than capable of taking half of your health away in a few seconds, something is wrong.
Oh wait, hello Dark Souls.

Spiderman 2 Is arguably old enough to be a classic whilst also good enough, and unlike the new spider man games It had a decent and fun web slinging mechanic that required timing and skill on the player. Maybe the infamous mysterio clown sections and boss fight out of it.
I would also loke a sequel of theif that kept the big sprawly levels and also the theif 3 (at the time) jaw dropping graphics. And I love how If you look down you can see the rest of your body, like your playing a person rather than a floating camera that only knows how to shoot and T-bag like in cod.

No, not voice acting for Link (beyond his normal grunts, sighs, screams, etc). Voice acting for everyone else. Ganondorf's booming, deep bellows (yes I know he wasn't in Majora's Mask), the Happy Mask Salesman's sinister, almost musical croon, Romani's cute, bubbly chatter, etc...

I would remake half-life for the simple reason of "wouldn't half-life be amazing with the graphics from a game of today?(for example black ops 2) I would also add aiming down sights with all weapons,make the characters look less derpy,zombies that run at you,quicktime events when a fast zombie grabs you,auto save when a loading screen comes up and also have the option to play as men or women in the two player co-op thing. (don't mention anything about that black mesa game)

The second wave (PS1 era) Final Fantasy games could use an update - last time I loaded one up those pre-renders didn't look quite as good on a sitting room flat screen as they did on the old CRT sets. I don't think that they particularly need a full 3D remake, just enough to get them looking great again.

I'd like to see some HD remakes (full hand drawn sprite treatments) of some old "beat em ups" like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. Sure, they were super simple games, but man were they fun. Oh, and an HD remake of GOLDEN AXE would be beyond awesome!

Calling Morrowind (or Oblivion or Skyrim for that matter) dumbed down sequels reveals a strong lack of understanding in regard to game development. You can't increase environmental detail, NPC detail, animations, spell effects, etc, and incorporate a myriad of secondary skills and movements into the game. Incorporating climbing in Daggerfall is simple, in Skyrim, not so much.

I don't think anyone is seriously complaining that Skyrim didn't have climbing. A spell creator and maybe some y'know attributes would have been cool. Yeah, they f'd the levelling in Oblivion something fierce, but the answer is to do it right, not do away with a core mechanic of the franchise.

Im a big fan of Bethesda version of Pirates of the Caribbean. That having a total over haul would be pretty awesome. I loved how they touched on economics in that game, and boarding other ships, stealing them, making a fleet and taking over whole towns was just awesome sauce.

I think Road Rash could be turned into something really good, I wouldn't change the graphics much, just make them HD. But I would introduce fully customizable bikes, side quests (I guess you would call them that) between races like, Slater got knocked off of his skateboard and you have to go rescue him, or Natasha is being hounded by Rude Boy and you need to go and play the hero. Add in Multiplayer and I think you would have a gem there.
