Asherian; you are completely ignoring the fact that my statements are not absolutes. For example, you are ignoring that I said it's utterly unnecessary for nearly anything, and you are chosing to read it as 'utterly unnecessary for everything'. You are also injecting a statement about levels being utterly useless, a claim which I never made.

That you have evidence pointing to something is immaterial, since it is clear that whatever it points to is not part of this.

I also refute the the accusations that I am inserting words that didn't exist. The quote in my post was made using the quote button, and is unaltered saved the bold formatting. Nowhere in my post have I changed or added wording; in fact, what I have done is compare your reply to what I had originally said, and simply pointed out where you have failed to correctly address what was written.

If anything, you are the one inserting nonexistant words, since you are attempting to prove "That levels are not utterly useless.", something backed up by "evidence" that you claim points to it. I never made the claim that levels are utterly useless, so there is no need to prove otherwise.

You have also misquoted me by saying that I stated things were "utterly unnecessary", when the full quote included the "for nearly everything" part.

See, the Chicken farm would be made in order to get level 5 or 6 Soul Shards without too much difficulty. Just make a lvl 6 Chicken shard, then Anvil it with a lvl 0 of whatever you want the high-level shard for.

Because that one's already level 4, and they don't combine- the highest one takes the mob type of the lowest one.

See, this is why grinders are better. They allow for infinite mobs for soul shards, instead of just the 200 you get 'nomming' the spawner itself.

Are those redpower micro blocks? (Looks like it to me, looking at the size of the mushroom and mycellium blocks) If so, it looks like Dynmap now has some accurate support for them:

There are Xycraft Quartz Crystals and there are Mystcraft Crystal Blocks.

The Xycraft Quartz Crystals do give off a small amount of light. The Mystcraft Crystal blocks do appear to slightly illuminate the area around them (even when the portal is not lit), but I'm not sure if it counts as light (or it is not enough light to affect anything).

Didn't you know? That's part of ExtraBiomesXL. It's the Instagram biome.

(In seriousness it looks like it just derped when applying the biome colour to the grass - could have been in the middle of processing the tile when the server restarted or something like that. If you place a block or break a block there, it will probably redraw it and fix it)

Yep. Microblocks. And I think I'll also have a second layer underneath them, as I can.

Though... Hm. I could put Glowstone underneath... Yeah...

I think that's what I'll do. With glass inbetween.

I just wish I could 'saw' up Xychromium blocks.

I'll look into the second layer- but glowstone or the crystal would be nice to have under it. Actually, Crystal will work best due to it being Blue. Yeah.

Also, Mata- I'll be replacing the Viewing Glass with cobble, sheathed in Lapis- the basement is gonna be darker and more of a 'dim dungeon' sort of place, than where you'd be looking out into the atrium. The glass will find uses further up the tower, though, to be sure.

The Tower itself will probably end up looking more like These Guys, if I can.

A combination. Large main structure, like #3, with towers kinda 'growing' off it, some with supports going down, some just free-floating, some with bases attached to the tower itself, like in the other three.

Something to note, glass viewers don't appear on the map.

Just to let you know, I've actually replaced the Glass Viewers with cobblestone at the tower. I'm gonna sheathe it in Lapis (or possibly replace it with some sort of Blue Xychromium block- bricks or panels or something). So that might not be a map glitch.

I've replaced the lava/obsidian with a solid crystal base, and I'm going to be building a multi-layered arcane symbol on that with Redpower Micro blocks. You can see an image of it higher in the thread.

All the Viewers you made are in a chest below the Tower- along with the obsidian and the endstone that I've replaced. I'll probably end up using the Viewers somewhere else in the tower, though- perhaps higher up in the atrium. Just didn't want to be looking into the basement.

A lot of the newer blocks like glass viewers, foresty multifarms and warded blocks etc all don't show on the map. They probably will eventually, the poor guy working on Dynmap just has to try his best to keep up with all the new changes to all the mods.

I was mainly impressed that the microblocks were now supported because I had heard they were quite "hacky" in the code and so were very difficult to identify the type of block, size and orientation etc for rendering correctly in the map.

Since I've decided to get back into my favourite mod of all time (TC3) instead of just using the infuriating GregTech, do the Accords have use for a (Magic) beekeeper (Bestiola Mage)?

Also..Mata you really need o watch where you point that laser... your holes really screwed me over last time I was on... those online at the time will probably remember the "ETomb died from fall damage" messages every minute or so...

Ok, so I'd promised, but I'd almost forgotten (particularly as no-one asked), but I've made the old DW20 test world available for download.

It's just the world folder, config folder and the server.properties file (I don't want to get in trouble for redistributing the mods and/or Minecraft), so you'll have to download the FTB stuff from their site to go with it.

I'm not sure how you'd go about importing it into a Single player game, but I assume it might just be to simply copy the world folder (FTBpublic) into the place of where your normal single player worlds are saved. There may be some fiddling required to get it to work.

This world save is from a backup taken just before I told you all to start packing things into Enderchests, so hopefully things should still be in place and not all torn down.

Please only download it if you actually intend to use it. No point you all jumping on the server bandwidth and then complaining because the server is lagging

To mitigate this, I'll only give the link out in PMs. I'll keep an eye on it and if it's getting silly, I'll break the link and change it to something else.

I'd be glad to help you out some. And yeah, a Mage Beekeeper would be great. Might be a 'friendlier' way to get the Pure Node into the middle of the tower, and to build Aura and drain Aspect in the various Towers.

Are there Bees that provide Lapis Lazuli? Because I'm gonna need a ton of that.
