Losing a heap of xp does suck if you dont have a grinder setup.

Ok, I'm ok with people using my mineshaft and all that... but could you please light up your tunnels, not use explosives and leave the ore from the origianl tunnels? I now need to fix it all up so I don't get killed by creepers...

Don't want to falsely accuse anyone, but as I was lighting up the unlit tunnels someone had made in my mine, I came along a large hole to the surface with a crystal staircase, and came across this building when I reached the top:


The owner could possibly be the one using other's mines and not lighting them up.

I'll go back down to my mines and see if we connect then.

The part that really irks me is that I still go down and mine for goods when idle and thus would have eventually come upon those ores.

But it IS utterly unnecessary for nearly anything in FTB (unlike, say, power, which is required in several forms for most of the mod to work), so most people will not have one set up.

For future reference for everyone, if you want to have an MFFS set to steal items or kill people, you have to have clear warning signs in game around any expected routes into the area. This includes portals and linking books.

You cannot ask for chunks to remain unloaded on a multiplayer server.

From now on, anyone who sets an MFFS to kill people without fair *in-game* warning, will be banned.

It's probably best if you don't bother setting MFFS systems to kill people.

Working on a Zombie Shard right now. Almost to level 5. Also have 3 Skeleton spawners near me, so I'll probably use those to boost an Angry Zombie shard as well.


Actually, did you guys know that? You can Anvil 2 soul shards to put the Levels of one on the 'soul' of the other- so a lvl 1 Creeper shard, Anvil'd with a level 6 Skeleton Shard, makes a lvl 6 Creeper shard.

That is intriguing... You could make a lvl6 one on chickens, then merge it with lvl one creeper or Wither Skeleton

I kinda want to see if it's possible to set up, using Weighted Pressure Pads and timer circuits and memory modules, a non-infinite Exponential Chicken Generator. Set it to produce, say, 100 chickens at a time, do other stuff until the light goes out, then Fire Wand and profit.

Ok, I tried connecting to the server for the first time and apparently I lack 'TwilightForest:1.15.3'. I have just downloaded Ultimate and put a new texture pack in so havn't go deleting or disabling anything, any help?

This is beginning to happen more often and I want to figure out why. Can you start FTB, login so that you're on the main Minecraft screen, then in the bottom right, click "Forge Mods".
Scroll down until you see Twilight Forest. What version number does it have?

Please let me know.

Then if it is lower than 1.15.3, go back to the main screen and click Quit Game. Then start the Launcher again, but don't login. Click the Options tab and then "Force Update". See if that helps.

If it is higher than 1.15.3, then that is very interesting and something isn't right with the FTB distribution system.

It's Twilight Forest 1.15.4.

Any easy way to fix this?

Hey guys when going to my grinder please be aware, that it is still possible to get hit by a skeleton.

So please turn it off after use, because it can accumlate around 95 levels in 1 hour, that is plenty for more levels, so don't leave it on, my barrel space is only so large before it becomes tedious

you need to disable the 15.4, and re-download the 15.3. Then don't accept the update the launcher suggests

Change it so they have to stand on a stone pressure plate to keep it on, that way if they leave, log off or die, it switches off. (Don't use a wooden pressure plate, or the xp orbs can keep it on).

I'm going to look further into the Twilight Forest thing now.

OK, so... The FTB Ultimate server has been updated from version 1.0.1 to version... 1.0.1

If you can't connect, click the Options tab in the launcher and click "Force Update" then click Launch.

False. I have found that the uncrafting table and all other items that i have used thus far, require levels. It helps a lot in finding items that i currently don't have. For example I currently have a shortage of leather. For a small amount of levels I could go and uncraft leather armor that i found from my zombie and skeleton grinder. Then i place leather inside the uncrafting table then done, ready to make a book.

YOU are not MOST PEOPLE. Please point out where I said that YOU didn't have a grinder. Also point out where I said that everything needed levels.

You will see that nowhere did I make the claims that you are attempting to refute.

I stand by my statement that most people did not have grinders at the time of posting and that it was utterly unnecessary to have a grinder for nearly anything. Both you and the few items you work with that require levels are the exceptions which I have already made allowances for.

PLease be aware of the I HAVE FOUND bit. I didn't even mention the everything needs levels, What you said is Utterlly unnecessary, it is necessary to have exp to do alot of things. You need to rethink your argument. As I have evdience pointing to something different. That levels are not utterly useless. Nor did i say anything that was out of malice or anything. You took it the wrong. For that I am sorry, even though you read it incorrectly and are putting words down that didn't even exist.
