I have these 2 GK painted up so far for the army Im building, just posting the pics up for feedback on the colour scheme.
The first incarnation of the colour scheme is this metal Terminator.
The second incarnation is only a little different, the basic silver of the armour is darker and I have added some lighting effects and edging on the armour plates and such.
The model is one of the new plastic GK Terminators (quite nice models)
Basically Im just wondering which colour scheme people like better, they are very similar but as I pointed out, there are a few diferences.
All the images have zoom enabled in the gallery if you want a closer look.

I much prefer the second scheme as it looks a lot more clean. Also, those force weapons look sweeter than Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Would you mind telling me how you did those blades, because that is a look I'd love to get on mine.

Those weapons are Amazing! I really like the second one. I am also curious on how you did those weapons as I would love to totally rip them off.

All drybrushing for the weapons gentlemen.
Step by step:
1. Basecoat regal blue
2. Drybrush enchated blue
3. Drybrush Ice blue
4. Asurman blue wash the blade
5. Enchated blue drybrush
6. Ice blue drybrush
7. 50/50 mix of ice blue and white drybrush
8. white drybrush on extreme edges.
All the drybrushing focuses on brushing the blade edge, I imagine it as showing the energy being focused on the cutting part of the blade.

I like the second scheme a lot more. The metallic black is just gorgeous.

I like the second one much better. The first one looked like you dry-brushed on the silver on his chest and shin guards.
I really like the lava bases you did, too.
Nice work!

Yeah I did drybrush the top guys silver, but I also drybrushed the metal on the second guy as well.
Glad to hear people like the second guy better, he's my favourite as well lol.

Wondering Why the Emperor Left
The Warp

While both look great, I love that 2nd grey knight. I like how it is more of a steel color than shining silver. I think it fits well with the fluff, they may be serving the good of the Imperium but they sometimes get their hands dirty...

"The uniforms of the Imperial guard are camouflaged in order to protect their wearers by hiding them from sight. the principle is that what the enemy cannot see, he cannot kill. This is not the way of the Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine's armour is bright with heraldry that proclaims his devotion to his Chapter and the beloved Emperor of Mankind. Our principle is that what the enemy can see, he will soon learn to fear." -The codex Astartes

2nd Terminator is better imo.
Those are the best painted forceweapons I have ever seen. I love the effect you got on them, I chose to do blue lightning on mine but if I could paint the way you do i would steal your FW scheme in an instant! Brilliant work can't wait to see what a squad you produce will look like.

First off i hate you and your made painting skills. Second I think it looks great and i wish my death will were even half as well painted as those two are. Also i think the second one with the blacken steel thing looks cooler then the first but for real both of them are really good.

The matalic black was just a black undercoat, drybrush with boltgun and a badab wash.
