No, when the deployer fires again, the lava goes into the bucket.

If you want to get really technical the "empty bucket" item is replaced with the "lava bucket" item.

Ah I think I'm getting confused. I thought Iustis wanted it to rotate by turning the lava "on" and "off" around the sides of the lighthouse, but actually just wants lava put there that gets used up.

Using a Redpower pump and grate to flood the sealed area with lava is the better way to do it then.

Correct. the lighthouse has nine blocks that use up lava to create huge gouts of flame, it's quite impressive.

There are two that have been confirmed as discovered, and one more left to find unless someone's keeping it a secret.

Matapata found the first, so you could ask him, and Corpses and me found the second, but I've forgotten where it is.

So anyway, I'm gonna break from minecraft for a bit, I got a metric fethtonne done recently and spent way too much time on it yesterday. Enjoy everything I made for now, Iustis

Be sure to remember to fuel the quarry frequently, and you might have to empty the chests out occasionally.

Theres a linkbook you can use somewhere, but if it's just pearls you need, theres an ender chest somewhere iirc that we have hooked up

I killed myself whilst wearing power armour. When I went back for my stuff a bit later none of it was there, but the exp remained. Is that uh... normal?

The stuff despawning, not me killing myself. =)

I searched the whole area, above and below ground. It didn't just despawn, there was still xp floating there. ...This is why I'm not allowed nice things.

Use charcoal to fuel the quarry. We need coal for alchemical purposes.

Don't worry, plenty of wood to burn at spawn, just toss some dirt and apetite in the machine, not that we use THAT much wood anyway (four stacks a go).

I'm finding power armour to be a little silly. With all the flight mods and kenetic recharging you gain energy by flying. With the force fields turned up to full I lose one point of energy at the most every few seconds whilst being attacked by five angry zombies and two spiders. I'm sure the flaws will show when going up against ghast kings, and its terrible compared to quantum, but power armour's coming across as being quite ...excessive for the small amount of input required.

But at least it suits for building work/not falling to death.

Put on the boot thrusters as well. It's durable but for extended fights its mobility is more powerful.

They have done some balancing of the power armor in the upcoming versions. It will take more than an MFE to get a full charge and certain components generate heat when used (mostly weapons). Too much heat causes you to catch fire ;-)

Edit: removed inaccuracies about exploding

It's also set to get stuff like a railgun and a ICMB launcher.

And ambient cooling, like jumping in water or into a snowy biome of help with heat management.

@Melissa: Your profile picture was closest in size to Luke's face though, so I just popped it there. Hope that didn't cause offence. It does, however, mean that Grundz trained you, as that used to be Ben Kenobi.
