Dark I just found a material emancipation grid (do not use) in a hollow hill. Already tossed it in lava to get rid of it, but thought I'd still let you know in case you could do anything to stop it from popping up again.

Looking up on it though it doesn't seem like a big deal and it probably would have been fine leaving it in a chest somewhere.

I managed to fall to death somehow whilst running about in the cave age. I'd been fighting an invisible zombie just beforehand, so I think it was down to desyncing. Either that or I suddenly walked into a gravity field, but I don't think there's any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods in the pack. Darkinnit that warrant an inventory reset (I just had a jetpack and steel armour at the time, so not much)?

Oh and I found one of those earlier Not_u. Dark said they're fine, the warning's just because they're badly implemented so probably will kill you if you use them.

And for more fun. I was wearing a set of steel armour after my failed attempt to get my stuff back. After going home to stick it in a chest I removed it. However the armour didn't appear in my inventory after taking it off, nor did it fall on the ground. ...Odd.

Just after doing that the wind also cracked the window next to me too in the real world. Just one of those days.

Also, someone on the Megabuild Age is lagging the feth out of the server. To the point of it being unplayable. Whoever it was (I don't know), SHAME on you.

It's cptprice/matapata's place this time. Same problem grundz had (Redpower pneumatic tubes full of infinite items) but this time is sapling/apple apocalypse instead of sand.

I've taken the server offline while I MCEdit the pipes away.

Hehehe. Kinda happy magic uses golems and interdimensional chests instead of pipes, now.

This is a problem that could be solved by simply turning off the machine when you log off.

Or even use Dark's 2 Minutes Remaining redstone signal to kill them.

This really seems to be happening because of bugs in Redpower, not because these people are actually capable of producing infinite items.

I've edited out the pipes, just testing now, hope to have the server back up soon.

Ours is blue-blue-blue, but I think our chest is private (maybe? I don't know!) so I dunno if it'll arrive properly. No clue how ender chests work in FtB.

I'm considering making a private one as well, yet I also think having an Enderchest for a vault isn't so great really. I mean if I go to the effort of it, what's the point where that enderchest could just be locked and out in the open perfectly safe. That and being isolated a bit on the map means there's no real rush to it.

Also Dark, like the test server, is there a table somewhere with reserved Ender and wireless ranges? Keeping it organised keeps it easy.

Anyway, feel free to send the bones to that channel. I need the bones for calcium, to make calcium carbonate for efficient iron production (5 ingots for one nether iron ore, in this case).

Woops! You know what I did, I forgot to re-enable the restarts after the fixes I did yesterday.

Then I just restarted the host server for a software update and obviously it didn't start up the Minecraft server afterwards. Sorry! It's back up now.

I haven't made a table of wireless ranges this time around, because you can name them in-game (just expand the advanced button). You can also "phase shift" any frequency by putting a coloured dye in the interface.

I haven't made a table of ender chest colours, because you can make them private using a diamond. You should do this for any ender chests you don't deliberately want public because you never know who's extracting a given ender chest colour into a void pipe.

As for the intentionally public ender chests, like the free sand, zombie flesh, compressed air, Grundz' donation chest etc, people could probably put up notice signs in the trade center at spawn.

Need that much to make a hybrid solar panel now that I have a regular solar panel, which will do a good job ensuring my energy needs are met. Not sure what I could trade for it though. Thorium perhaps?

Oh and could someone help me with my lighthouse design? It uses a 3x3 square of those fire jets, I'm trying to think of how I could set up pumps to keep a 3x3 square of lava source blocks directly under them. The flow does not need to be fast as it should last a while, but each of the spaces do have to be a source rather than flow. My current idea was just weaving different pipe types up the tower so they'd just pump it out automatically in the space I left for the lava, but I haven't had the chance to test it much yet.

Yeah. And I need two for advanced and then another six for hybrid. So... not going to happen for a while for me, thus I asked to trade instead.

We also have some hydra blood and ironwood ingots to offer for it if it helps.

You could try deployers to place buckets of lava then have filters to take the empty buckets.

You could then either set up the system to run off timers and just deploy at certain intervals or just have it manually operated.

If a deployer deployed a full bucket, would it keep the empty bucket in it's inventory? Then if it then deployed the empty bucket, would it suck up the lava into the bucket again?

Also vanilla dispensers have this behaviour with lava buckets, but only horizontally I think.

Yeah it would suck it back up with an empty bucket, thats why you use filters to take the empty buckets out, then you can pipe in more full buckets.


Only reason Id suggest this over pumps is that I can see the pump overflowing the area.
Although they could be put on a timer also which could work.

What if the area was entirely close with just the pipes coming in the bottom of it?

If it was a sealed area then it cant overflow.

Why would you need to take the empty buckets out? The lava would either be in the world or in the bucket in the deployer. The bucket full or empty could just stay in the deployer the whole time.

I know a rotating system is wanted, but lava buckets are cheap, just make more

If the buckets stayed in the deployer/dispenser wouldnt it just end up full of empty buckets though?
