Note to any of you who have more than 8192eu/t going into a GregTech Matter Fabricator, you may want to turn it off before the update.... (at least if you don't like explosions...)

I'm not sure how much eu/t is going into our matter fab, and I'm not sure if joyny will be on in time to check (my FTB launcher is being an arse and I don't have the motivation to fix it). Will you be able to please turn ours off or disconnect it unless it's going to be fine?

It's being fed around 126eu/t for some reason...

There's a major bug that crashes the server if you access a ChunkLoader interface. It's a simple fix (update to the latest ChickenChunks for 1.4.7), so I'll wait to see if they update the pack.

However, they had this issue in the testing versions of Utlimate 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 and people were reporting it to them and they seem to have ignored it.

If they continue to ignore it, don't release a "1.1.2" and go on to focus on the Minecraft 1.5 and 1.6 modpacks, we can still update to Ultimate 1.1.1, but everyone will have to download the newer versions of ChickenChunks and add it to their mods folder manually...

I'm sure someone can give you a short, well-written guide on how to do that to put in the OP for those of us that don't like mucking about with mod folders.

This is probably that 10kb streaming crap going away too.

Railgun might let me scale down the power in my plasma cannon a bit since it's supposed to have a relatively high energy cost to it. So why not max that out and simply save it for boss fights. I also hope it can punch through blocks.

I've seen videos of people using the railgun in Tekkit Light and it looks pretty effective.

If anyone has updated prematurely, you can change the version back to 1.0.1 and click "Options" and click "Force Update" to downgrade.

I'll see if I can update the server to Ultimate 1.1.2 this evening (about 12 hours from the time of this post, maybe).

As for the Modular Powersuits constant 10kb data streaming oddness, it's not fixed until the Minecraft 1.5 version of the mod unfortunately.

Dr what, can I buy back my powersuit? If your not still using it, what you want for it?

Seems lit enough to keep mob spawns outside the fenced area and the fences prevent monsters coming in with the exception of spiders.

Mars doesn't have much to offer atm but if you're passing through and need a safe place for the night it should hold you over.

Mel, if you are interested in this area you can have the marble house i built and the wastelands as i am not really interested in FtB. You would have to talk to martian_jo about the redrock mountains with the villiage.

Odd, so what else did it have wrong for multiplayer that they've apparently fixed?

I'm no Java expert, but the multiplayer fix appears to be something do with the player's position in relation to other blocks (possibly something with the blink drive, if it's raytracing?):

Yes, it's an alternative to the power tool's plasmagun.

If the FTB map appears broken, do a refresh and it should load. I updated the Dynmap version and you may have the old version cached

I don't get that when I look at those coordinates from the map normally.

I think the weird tiling effect on the lava is because the lava colour got changed in the new version of Dynmap. So one is the "old" lava and one is the new.
