The pic is the stock model. Converted mine some to feel more Infinity/Nomads. Feels like the perfect size fluff wise. Slightly taller and much more stocky then an HI. I'll eventually remember to take a pic of it and my heavily converted Spec Ops.

Would that work for an Iguana? From what I can tell with the stats, Iguanas aren't very big either. That stock scheme is exactly how I'd paint one for Qapu Kalki, and looks ace.

it's a 'I deployed poorly and my opponent rambo'd a tough unit and punished me' issue.

Great!, now I feel cheap...

But seriously, you are right, we do really stupid mistakes during deployment; like facing walls... I did as much as mathieu, I just happened to have paratroopers to take advantage of this...

One game against my brother, I had a Ghulam and a Spitfire Muyib covering each other. So I thought. The Ghulam had his back to my Muyib, but my Muyib was looking at a wall. My brother showed me the error of my ways by blowing them up with a missile after approaching from my Muyibs blindspot, which wouldn't have been a blindspot if I just turned her after moving.

These errors are character building.

Don't be too harsh on the metal big guys... I can't overstate the psycological impact of those brutes on your opponent. we... it works on me anyway...

Right, I forgot it was the diminutive girl that got him.

And I, again, fail to understand that vaunted psychological impact. You should relish seeing it on the tabletop, it means I am now 90 points away from Retreat! as soon as it is there!

Waaay too small for an Iguana. The Iguana is a full TAG while the Geckos are a mini-TAG.

Again lost my TAG first turn tonight. To Chain Rifles. Ugh...

I've "lost" my Jotum to a mine before. The mine technically didn't kill the TAG, but it did prevent it from moving anywhere and sadly, it was stuck in the open with no cover. At which point my opponent, who happened to be Chemical, tore into it with his Magh and other troops. I sadfaced all the way home.

As Loki mentioned, deployment is huge when using the TAG, as well as other heavy hitters I'd imagine, and the facing is also important. If you're hiding behind a building, in cover, but the unit is facing the wall, then being in cover isn't going to matter if you can't ARO against the baddie firing at you. I discovered that the hard way.....many times.

I wasn't facing the wall, I happened to have faced against the rest of his army and where most of the heat looked like it was going to take place.

At 300 points, it's just not worth it anymore.

Honestly, if I were to just sit tight and not move at all, my positions would be tenable. But I move, because I want to provoke any kind of action. Remember, that one game where you said that there was nothing you could do because everyone was covering everyone else? See, I listen. But I still won, in a sense. Because I'm the only that got pie. I owe you a piece, it was delish.

I read through the Tactica from Flipswitch, and it wasn't what I was expecting, on second thought. Maybe it isn't in fact, the army...

Ironbovin doesn't do any stupid mistakes, I wish he'd stop trying to make himself feel better by saying that. He deploys everything way out of sight, as he should. He just has fast goodies with special rules. I don't. He's excellent at this game, no matter how much he tries to insist that he is a noob.

And it seems like it is the only chance we'll ever have of getting a battle-egg, since Defiance is pretty much dead in the water at this point.

Here is some shots of the Gecko conversion. He is standing next to my converted spec ops Vortex and a Druze.

Love the cloak on the Spec Ops. That Gecko conversion is great. Though I can't see a full sized person inside it. An amputee maybe.

Thanks! Took a while to sculpt :/

I'm hoping to get my hands on some spare baby arms from a lizard or scarface to put on the front. I think that would help a lot with believability. I just kinda figure they put kids in there lol. This is Corregidor after all, earn your oxygen kid.
