Ok the Studio is working on a Project for eBay. This time it will be the Necrons in a rusty theme.

The force will contain:
1 Doom/Night Scyth
1 Comand Barge
20 Warriors
5 Imortals
2 Necron Overlords/Lords

They will all have the green light effect on all the shiny things done.

Here are some wip shots for you.

Wow nice work, beautiful colors and contrast!

I'm making a necron gang for Inquisimunda and all of them will be very rusty. I have a good paint scheme for a brown/yellow rust but how do you create this reddish rust effect? Do you mind giving a quick rundown?

The D-Lord looks ok, but the rest is too much IMO. Not enough metal to show that the orange is rust. The entire scheme looks off to me.

Really fantastic scheme brovatar! Are you using an airbrush for some of the osl and honeycomb? Also, how are you painting the bases? I do quite like them, though at first glance they seemed a little too yellow of a shade in contrast to the rest of the scheme. But they've grown on me rather quickly and am quite curious about your painting process
Cheers!
