the problem is that they are all metal (henchmen) i need conversion ideas for plastic versions (so far using IG cadian shock troops for warrior acolytes with hot-shots and flamers, and made a servitor out of spare space marine parts [3 servo skulls and a plasma cannon]) (corteaz is fine)
any advice welcome
(not sure if this is the right place to post it

Psykers: Most people who want plastics for these around here use the WHFB flagellant box for them.
Arco-flagellants need some extra work (hooded heads and hands removed and replaced with flails from a WHFB plastic kit like chaos marauders?
Jokaero ... I'm sure there's some humanoid but hairy figures who can be modified to have suitable weapons but I can't think of any.
Mine are all metals, though - from the warrior acolytes, to psykers (I have three, but they are all old RT/2nd edition sanctioned psykers which look different to modern ones) and my two Jokaero are modified sasquatch figures from Ral Partha (painted up with orange fur and grey skin).

For the flagellants I suppose you could use the new cultists heads with the hooded heads and mix and match with fanatic parts as suggested above, for the whips it might be good to model various 'pipe' like tubes using green stuff.

A gallery search will turn up some neat conversions.
You'll find my flagellents to psykers here
And some crusader, death cult, and monkeys here
Automatically Appended Next Post: The 'jockero' is a power monkey from the empire handgunners set. A more serious conversion was a skaven plague monk body but I don't have a pic handy.

Ah ha! I have been looking for options for henchmen psykers. Search the gallery for each option to see what other people have done. For me, I want some kind of robed figures to be henchmen psykers, preferably with hoods. You can use the legs of high elf archers and a non-armored torso or the body/leg combo of empire flagellants for a suitably robey look. The only hooded heads that fit guardsmen sized bodies that are from gw are a few of the brettonian bowmen heads, a couple of the new chaos cultis heads, and the wood elves glade guard heads. I plan to use those for a 'monk' style psyker
Jokeraos I have seen a lot of variation. Some people buy third party funny gorilla models, others kit bash gw parts and make some alieny creature with a whole lot of tech parts around it. Me, I am going to use the Skaven night runners models, but slap a third party head on it so it won't look like a rat, lol. And then give each of them a big weird looking gun cobbled together from random bits. Ah ha, neat. Didn't know there was a little monkey from a Fantasy set. I'd be very interested in seeing your Plague Monk Jokaero!

No pics but Stormcrow really took my idea and ran with it. I'm actually going to have to go back and nick some of his ideas if/when I return to my GKs.
It's a great thread, check it out.

I bought a box of Empire Flagellants too, I use mine for acolytes. Nothing but meat shields any way. Nice tip on the Empire monkey.
