Maximus is awesome! War Pigs are my favorite faction and it's nice to see them get some love. Such a sweet model.

Love the Highwaymen. Love scattergunners, too. I'll probably pick up a box of the plastics since I only have a min unit.

Man, there have actually been some aesthetically pleasing models lately. I hope they don't keep this up...

Missed that part. Last I saw there was still speculation on if they were 2 in 1, 3 in 1 or two with a character upgrade in the box. I'm still wondering when we'll see the jacks from the last book.

Ok yeah, we knew they were characters, we didn't know how they were going to be boxed, if they'd be upgrade kits or mixed in as a multipart plastic kit. Otherwise I've heard the reason we've not gotten the jacks from the previous book is because they're going to be boxed as a single kit that includes a Jack from the next book for 3in1s again.

Which is entirely possible. There could indeed be new non-character Jacks based on the Warjacks of Renown chassis variants.

Which would kind of be cool to have a non-character thunderhead chasis jack. Just to advance the story a bit, with Nemo remembering a little of what allowed him to create Thunderhead in the first place.

That's Apotheosis, not Renown. The Renowns are already all non-character and include the Stormclad, Seether, Guardian, and Kodiak.

Any word on if this will be a metal or resin kit?

Boo metal on the wasps too. I've been wanting them to make stingers/harriers into plastic. Now I've got another tiny critter that needs plasticized.

On the other hand - thank god they finally made Kriel Warriors plastic. It was, I think, the most-requested plastic kit. It cut the cost of the full unit nearly in half.

Yeah they look really silly.

Not impressed with those insects.

I do like that they keep replacing those incomplete unit boxes though.

I'm also not a fan of the insect wings themselves. I think I'm giving these ones a pass.

Those bugs look exactly like butterflies look in my wife's mind's eye, I think. At least that would explain her reactions to them.

Perhaps some brass rod would work better than the giant flight stands, but over all they are not too terrible... needs better wings though.
