That metal corset? How is that supposed to go with the desperado/outlaw/cowboy theme?
I am going to green-stuff it away if I ever get the model.

Eh, just paint it as cloth or leather with studs. What's a little stranger that I hadn't noticed till just now is the thighs fully wrapped in bandages. Sort of an odd choice... is she a mummy from the waist down?

Looking forward to a Grolar on a sprue though!

For a lot of their current kits, they simply can't be converted to hard plastic (HIPS) without a complete resculpt due to the undercuts they have. The COC vectors are particularly egregious examples of this, and are terrible to model with even in PVC, because there is so much detail in convex parts and tiny cog/screw imprints in otherwise flat panels.
On the other hand, most of them can be converted 1-for-1 to PVC - see the new plastic EBDT and Runeshapers.

I could definitely get back into Warmahordes with this. CoC looks like it could be the faction for me (Khaldor second) but I'd need to see how they play before I spend my money.

I'd love to see the CoC become more fully fleshed out in HIPS, compared to the restic they currently use. It's been one of the barriers for me to resist getting into the system, as I haven't liked the material their stuff is made from. This could change all that.

Nonsense. It just means that when they design the sprue, they'll need to break apart sections into two or three smaller components to allow for those undercuts. GW and Wyrd are pretty good at doing this and with the new CoC polystyrene kit, I see no reason PP can't do the same.

BTW, anyone know if there's a date for the TEP to be released?

A cloth or leather corset makes only very, very marginally more sense for a desperado/bandit.

It doesn't have to make sense. We're talking about a female Troll guerrilla fighting in a steam-fantasy world where techno-wizards magically controlling steam-powered robots in battle against Dragonspawn under the direction of Elves with bits of Dragon stuck in their rib cage is considered "normal".

I can forgive a marginally confusing wardrobe choice...

That's kind of the point though; why does a female Troll guerrilla fighting in a steam-fantasy world where techno-wizards magically controlling steam-powered robots in battle against Dragonspawn under the direction of Elves with bits of Dragon stuck in their rib cage model need cleavage?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

Sorry, wrong choice of expression. Replace “make sense” with “fit the character”.

Okay, I am sorry. The discussion on whether this mindset is appropriate or not should go to a completely different thread, that would inevitably degenerate into namecalling after between a dozen or five pages, and then be closed. I did not want to create a discussion in here. If someone feels like doing so, please create a thread, we can discuss the intricacies of female character design there. Here, please keep the discussion on the new PP release.

I'm super excited about the hard plastic. The PVC really caused me to put the brakes on my WM/H spending. Thankfully I managed to get metal winterguard, banes, mechanithralls and all the ret infantry while they were available.

If they start rolling out hard plastic for more releases, I'll find it very, very hard to resist.

Fingers crossed we see it for the Minion battle engines.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

With the introduction of hard plastics, I wonder if we will finally, FINALLY, FINALLY see some modular joints in PP's figures.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Man, I just saw these new sprues! This could be huge for PP, it certainly seems to shorten the gap between GW and PP plastics, often a "last hold-out" reason for those citing why they don't play WMH.

The models that they're using it for(mechanical stuff like Warjacks) tend to already have some modular joints.

I'm excited enough about the new plastic that as soon as I saw the sprue picture for the battle engine, I was like, is it possible to make an army that only has metal and hard plastic? Two of the battle engines, a caster, some solos...

Sadly, not yet as the jacks and units are entirely PVC :(

Wow! Proper hard plastic! I wonder if this means with might possibly see a change in price? Nah, probably not.

I really like the Painter of Everblight. I hope they make him easy to get.

The resin and metal battle engines are $85-$95 and this plastic one is $70 and it's at least as big as any other battle engine. But a price drop from the crappy PVC plastic? Not likely.

Legion wins by a head!

Also, for the person that asked about a release timeframe on the TEP, all the previews launched this past week are for February I believe.
