Yeah, love bad seeds, and love the concept, but I'm really not seeing it as worth it, I think infantry and jacks are both way more useful than that kinda' tough, kinda' fighty, kinda' buffy solo. Sword knights are way better flankers, and warjacks are better reliable killers, and most stuff is better at volume.

Does anyone know if the Ogrun trencher will lead to an Ogrun Trencher unit? It's about time Cygnar got some heavy infantry love.

Maybe someday? There's no telling.

Cause when I'm playing Bad Seeds something being worth it or not is my first thought.

...Umm, actually, yeah. Unless I run into a hard counter of a ton of armor (since for some reason, ol' mags doesn't want to field the warjack he commissioned or w/e), I've had a very high win record with the list. Actually, even against a ton of heavy armor I've done well, it's just an uphill battle.

I don't play stupid themes. Bad Seeds has flaws, but is 100% playable without gimping yourself for fluff (or, I guess, random fun-looking models).

My statement had nothing to do with how you or any other non-me person plays the list outside of events.

It was a statement that referred specifically to how I build lists and sometimes I like playing off the wall ideas even if I know they're not the best choices.

Okay. You can play all the "this is stupid" lists you want.

Your winky face implied some sort of assumption or statement that one should expect the list not be played seriously, or, well, something other than "Wa-hay! I play silly things that don't necessarily function!"

I'm not going to waste my time or money painting or buying something that functions poorly.

Nope, it was just me being cheeky.

If I was the type not to waste money on sub-par choices, I sure as hell wouldn't own full FA on both Trencher artillery pieces.

I see the word Trencher and everything goes blurry after that...

Eh, fair 'nuff. IDK, I play 40k when having fun and WM when wanting to throw down, so I don't go in with the mentality of doing silly stuff (though I do like any of the decent theme lists as a limiting factor).

There's some new models on the PP front page:

Cryx Soul Trappers

Cognifex Cyphon

Farrow UA

Swamp Gobbers

This is why I'm selling my Cryx. It's obviously subjective, but it all looks so samey, and boring. No real imagination in any sculpt.

Gotta agree they are very generic Cryx. I love Cyphon though and the Farrow guy is ace.

You forgot the best looking figure of the bunch they just showed off, eKromac's individual release!

As well as the Twins.

Never been a big fan of Circle but I am so getting that hulked out Kromac. Makes me want to get the original Kromac just to tell my opponent "This isn't even my final form!"

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Holy freaking cow!
That Kromac is....just wow!
Those Everblight ladies look interesting as a warlock unit. I like the quirkier offbeat warcasters.

I still wonder with the twins what kind of shenanigans I can get up to with Zuriel, since he gets stealth through one and can be used to channel with the other.

Zoom him across the board all stealthy, let Saeryn send something through him to soften his target, and then let him start slicing and dicing whatever he needs to.

Yeah I imagine he's a pretty good call in a list with the twins. He's good anyway but getting both of his affinities can only be good.

When it says plastic, do they mean the restic plastic stuff, or on a sprue plastic like that Convergence battle engine?

Could be a fun kit to build, and should be a reasonable price (69.99 according to privateer) especially online, considering the size.

Different strokes, and all that. It's in no small part the strong, unified design aesthetic in the Cryx range that has me liking it all so much...

Not seen this here yet, though not sure if it's fake or not! Seems really really good, though not sure of the interaction/timing of dodge and riposte.

One of the designers at Lock and Load said she was going to be in a new plastic not seen yet for PP models. Plus a preview model was shown in resin. They may be experimenting with new PVC blends.

It'll make probably either be PVC or HIPS if it's plastic, what other plastics are there that models are made of? The preview model was the rapid prototype which is always the same plastic, no matter the final model I believe.
