hey guys, i really want to get a bloodthirster but hate the GW model, i was wondering if any one has any good substitutes for them, doesnt matter the manufacturer or anything just something more daemonic and not like gw, thanks

The DP armour is great for adding plates to an unarmoured model, so if you can find the bits for them, certainly snag them.

A few cheapo toys would make pretty good Thirsters, with a little converting. In particular, the 'Papo Mutants" line are really quite detailed for about 15 dollars.

These few in particular:








Theyre the perfect size and have great detail and poses. Just get some suitable daemon wings, and probably a better head to swap in (a Juggernaut, forgefiend, or some of the WFB monster heads would work great). Strip the paint, recoat, and presto bingo.

That by far is my favorite model for greater daemons.....i love the build and face, everything, its just sooooo big and sooo expensive
