Isn't the dreadnight supposedly based partly on xeno tech? Can't remember on that one.

The Void Dragon is still part of the fluff.


Human Tech is not so much based on Necron tech as it is based on the same source the Necrons got their tech from. The very basis of human tech was derived from the Void Dragon himself, just like the Necrons got their tech from the C'tan.

it's out. The C'tan are no longer sleeping and in league with the Necrons, they have been shattered and destroyed by the necrons and their essesnce now enslaved by the crons. So void dragon is no more sleeping on mars and thus the admech didnt copy stuff from him.

There is a shard of the Void Dragon on Mars. A shard is still a sentient, if imprisoned, being. They have not ret-conned its presence on Mars, nor its fight with the Emperor.
