First of my questions is, are the models really skinny? or do they look good in person? Second, is the corporation hard to play? how should you play them? And does anyone have any cool paint schemes? I'm thinking i'll pick up a few of them soon. Also, if you couldn't tell i'm very new to warpath, I haven't even read through the rulebook yet or found out if any friends will play it either but I really like the look of the models and I really like that the whole game is pretty new.

They are only really skinny if you compare them to GW's "all over the shop scaling" for their humans who are the same height as their 'giant' genetically modified superhuman religious zealots.

Their legs could be a bit thicker (especially their enforcer line) but I prefer them to GW's guard lines.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I suppose the IG are a bit thick on the grand scale of 40k!

I have a couple hundred corporation minis now (Great clearance deals on MWG and Wayland a while back), and I love the model sizes. They're far more realistic than GW. Also, I painted mine to look like SHIELD troopers: blue outfits with white gloves, boots, belts and holsters, followed by a shield icon on the chest. Okay, the icon is too tiny to paint, and is a fudged black/white circle, but for TTQ, it looks great.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Are they multi-part kits that you assemble?

Legs and torsos are a single piece, right arm with gun is a piece, head and left arm are both individual pieces. So...4 pieces per model. Doesn't include backpacks or heavy weapon teams.

I think they are really nice little models - detail is fine, and as has been said they are nicely proportioned. As for colour schemes, there are various ones about.

The mantic blog page has a selection http://www.manticblog.com/?p=5106

Of all the ones out there, I liked this one quite a lot from a guy on the BoLS blog:

love the guy in the middle on his knees. I like that these models look really science fiction as opposed to the IG who look a little more like they are in WW2. Not that I don't like the IG. I just never thought they looked to sci-fi

Agreed. These guys look a bit more "Hard Sci Fi" while Cadians fit the "Space Opera" bill. The Corporation troops look like they are an advanced fighting force
