Ever since reading Know No Fear, I've wanted to see Kor Phaeron vs. Ahzek Ahriman.

Before, it always seemed self-evident that, as the most gifted psyker in the Thousand Sons, he was naturally the most powerful Space Marine psyker of the Heresy era.

But Kor Phaeron's feat of actually besting Guilliman with his psychic strength really made me start to wonder if Ahriman can really claim that title.

I'm thinking a battle of the minds within the Immaterium would be awesome.

Lorgar vs The Lion, The Lion would destroy Lorgar

It depends how much psykic power Lion can resist...If he is like Robby...hm.....my money is on Lorgar (badass version)....In pure melee Lorgar is history...

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? The Lion could not shield his mind from Kairos, and the Tupulchra or whatever it is called psychically could teleport him against his will casually.

I think this one is definitely coming up

It'll be a case of Loken vs Abaddon as both respect each others ability and I can imagine some great dialogue before the battle, if Kharn hasn't lost it properly at this point.

It's a shame that we haven't seen as much of Sigismund doing his thing, if any have we?

I feel sorry for Loken. It's my only problem with the Heresy.
He literally can't kill Abaddon, because Abaddon isn't dead in 40k.

I wanna see Sevatar duel/do nasty things to someone - preferably a character that can actually die (Horus Aximand would be fun) - just to up the ante a little...

I would love to see Eldrad duel Ahriman.

Typhus Vs Lucius.
Dorn Vs Potuerbo
Sanguinius Vs ... really any other Primarch would be a fun fight
Vulkan Vs Leman Russ would be cool IMO since they are both supreme hunters.

I would give damn near anything to watch a Fight between Malcador the Sigilite & Magnus. Magnus really needs to have someone take him down a notch.

He's the more powerful psyker, and a Primarch besides.

What makes you think that Magnus is the more powerful Psyker? What grounds do you have for comparison? I'm, not saying you're wrong since it's a hypothetical situation anyway, and we're probably using a completely different scale of power, but a little more than "Magus is better" would be nice

Malcador crumbled to dust after sitting on the Golden Throne for a short time, Magnus was, like the Emperor, intended to power it indefinitely.

Magnus's feats are also considerably better, destroying Titans psychically, razing the surface of a planet, creating city-leveling earthquakes, stopping the flow of time on a planet, psychically dominating Lorgar from the other side of the galaxy.

For another direct comparison between the two, Malcador's telepathic voice did not affect Lorgar like it did the Word Bearer's Legion, and Lorgar even managed to somewhat resist the telepathic domination of the Emperor himself, albeit an Emperor who likely wasn't using his full might.

Magnus, as I said, psychically dominated Lorgar, from the other side of the galaxy, while maintaining a psychic projection.

While I know that the Golden Throne was intended for Magnus, that alone may be why Malcador was unable to "power" it for any length of time. Don't get me wrong, Magnus is a badass for sure, but since we're comparing the power of two beings on the grounds of who is more psychically gifted, our argument really boils down to "who did the coolest gak with their minds".

If I understand my history correctly, Malcador managed to collect the "greatest heroes" in the Imperium on the Emperor's orders, bring them physically across the galaxy to the Emperor through the psychic defenses of Terra during the siege, and then back again to Titan. He then shifted the entire Moon of Titan out of the space-time continuum for 1000 years. He also knew to have them return at exactly the right time during a founding so that they could be inconspicuously added to the chapter roster.

Seconded - I laughed so hard on this...Just picture it in your mind...

Also I think comparing psykers is a little hard...I mean there are schools of psykic power IIRC, with some of them offensive others not so...

Magnus has more raw power, but Malcador is probably more wiser (being a emperor's shadow)...

I dunno, I think it seems pretty obvious that the reason Malcador couldn't maintain it was because it wasn't as powerful.

And once more, Malcador simply couldn't affect Lorgar, but an enraged Magnus psychically dominated him.

If I understand my history correctly, Malcador managed to collect the "greatest heroes" in the Imperium on the Emperor's orders, bring them physically across the galaxy to the Emperor through the psychic defenses of Terra during the siege, and then back again to Titan. His forming of the Inquisition, the collection of the "greatest heroes", didn't really involve any psychic legwork that we know of.

Now, shifting Titan into the Warp is impressive, but it relied more on extensively prepared sigils and rituals (Sorcery, lol) than use at will psychic power, I have little doubt that Magnus could do the same, especially considering it was Magnus himself who cast the spell, with far less prep, that transferred the millions of survivors of Prospero to his new Planet of the Sorcerers, as well as what remained of the great city Tizca.
