I am looking to convert some Deathguard bikers and the extremely static official models don't hold any interest for me and they also don't look very chaotic. I was going to use the new plague drones but I'm not a fan of the model so back to the drawing board.

So far I am considering:

Lizardmen terradons, VC giant bats, TK carrion (all 3 are probably too small though), creating a centaur out of cold ones/old dragon ogres or making some planaquins out of a pile of nurglings that I have (probably too much work though).

I am open to suggestions.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

I would use the standard Chaos Bikers, but I would "nurgle" them up with Liquid green stuff, Green stuff, holes, cuts, etc. I would also replace the biker torsos and heads with the Forge World Plague Marine kits.

The standard bikes are far too static and I'm not a fan of covering everything in greenstuff. The rest of the army is cleanly painted (for a Nurgle army) with only minor quantities of GS on select individuals.

The bikers themselves will have converted Chaos Warrior helmets and FW Deathguard shoulder pads but the rest will be standard CSM bits.

Bikes tend to be quite static, as you need all your limbs in certain places in order operate them.

So in order to make bikes less static, you might have to move away from using actual vehicles.

I am currently taking commissions.

An nice way of creating some dynamic without to much effort is posing the bikes themself. Wheelies and sliding bikes or jumping down a ledge (can give a champion some height too).

As for nurgle bikes. I have seem the use of goblin spiders as cool decoration. The head onto the front and the abdomen behind the seat. (obviously not my work, I'm not that good.)

Much as I love the new drones, they'd be rather tall to count-as bikes. Unless they could be reposed (minus the wings) into a more sluglike creature? That would probably help trying to fit a marine rider on top too...

Hmmmmm, i do know what you mean, and although i do think drones would look good, they'd also be sh*t expensive.
If it were me I'd go for the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse: pestilence look so either:
1) Nurgle Chaos Knights - http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1590018
some colours and conversions can make them look like this

2) Vampire Count Hexwraiths - http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat720001a&prodId=prod1460004a&rootCatGameStyle=
the horses look a bit skinny put they'll look super cool if you make them right
plus no one looks like they've done it before so originality right
