In my CSM codex under the transport profile for the Chaos Rhino (pg.54) It states that the Chaos Rhino cannot take models that are Bulky, Very Bulky nor Extremely Bulky.

However under the Chaos Land Raider profile (pg.55) The entry for transport simply says "Ten Models"

This confuses me a bit as I have not played loyalist marines at all and aren't in understanding to the Land Raider rules of conduct XD

But my question is as follows.

Q - Does the fact the codex transport rules state "10 models" mean I may place up to 10 bulky models inside? Or do each bulky model take up 2 normal model slots (As per the bulky rule of 2:1 ratio for being fat)

My main reason for asking is if I would be able to transport Bikers inside my Land raiders

Ten models with the restrictions of bulky models being taken into account.

You have permission to carry ten but bulky limits you from putting ten terminators in there.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Yes, understood on the bulky rulings for the Chaos Land raider.

But can it carry bikers? O_o

No, vehicles can only carry infantry per the transport rules.

They need a special rule saying they can carry bikers to carry bikers.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I misread it as "but bulky lets you"

Ah. Yeah, Chaos Land Raiders interact with Bulky models just like any other LR. Chaos LRs overall are still worse than Loyalist LRs, lacking PotMS, (and having inferior capacity than Redeemers, Crusaders, and vanilla Phobos LRs, which can carry 12) but on the plus side they can take Dozer Blades (and Dirge Casters), which so far for Loyalists only Dark Angels get access to.

Well, unless your house rules allow you to take dozen blades for ten points anyway.

It's CSM. It should have dozens of blades already.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Before, the spiky bits were for putting out your opponents eye while you bludgeoned him with your LR. Now its basically a weaker version of deffrollas.

LOL I always put Destroyer Blades on my Rhino's.. Knew they did something with Tank Shocking (IE hurts things)

But I still dont understand where spikes are useful for hurting things XD (Other than my opponent when he tries to pick up my vehicles! hehe)

By tank shocking, you can hurt things instead of just move them out of the way. Thats how you hurt things, duh.

Is there a rule where putting regular spiky bits on your vehicles counts towards dealing tank shocking hit? All I'm aware of is the CSM Destroyer Blades XD Unfamiliar with the regular spiky bits

Seriously?!

I always used a certain bit that came in the Rhino kit for an actual Destroyer Blade O_o

Well that makes me laugh quite considerably.. v_v boy do I feel silly now..

I'll remember that the spikes all around the tank count as Destroyer Blades (If I want to pay for them that is ) Otherwise I'll just say they're for aesthetics
