Cooked celery bothers me. Cold celery DOUSED in hot wing sauce is pretty much the greatest snack food ever. I could eat it all day. Try it that way-of course, you're really just eating a lot of wing sauce over solidified water...but hey, it gets you to eat your greens, right?

I despise that Cantina grill menu. It looks like Chipolte or Qdoba for half the price, but it's a lie! and that weird dressing does not belong on Mexican food!

On the bright side, normally you get good food when you dress up.

I've always liked dressing up, whether it's in my military uniform or my suit. Nothing quite like looking good and knowing it.

I had chicken vindaloo made by my own fairhand last night (and tonight). It wasn't as good as it usually is though and I'm not sure why.

Last night we went out for sushi for The Boy's birthday. Tonight will be pasta with white sauce, one of his other favorites. Desert is a buttermilk chocolate cake shaped like a 2x2 LEGO brick. Frosting is not as smooth as I'd hoped, but that's what I get for using stuff that tastes good, rather then looks good.

Yeah I know its not authentic but I do like all the veggies in it , especially for fast food. I first tried in on the long roadtrip after watching the College Football Championship in Florida in January and it was the only thing on the menu that appealed to me.
Last night was grilled corn salad, washed down with two gimlets and then followed by a monster headache from lack of caffeine So I'm now on cup of coffee number 2 "D

Ok, I have to ask, what is a sausage roll to you? To me, I think of sausages, preferably grilled, with sautéed peppers and onions, on a hogie/sub/grinder roll. Some sort of red pizza type sauce is acceptable, but not required. Baked beans would make a good side dish, but I'd never put them on the roll itself.
Now I'm a big fan of most things both sausage and roll, so if there is something out there I'm unaware of, please educate me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sausage_roll
The basic composition of a sausage roll is generally a sheet or sheets of puff pastry formed into tubes around sausage meat and glazed with egg or milk before being baked.[1][2] They can be served either hot or cold.
This is a sausage roll in its natural state;
This is one covered with baked beans;

Easter dinner with my grandparents today. Not sure what's cooking but grandma always sets a fantastic table. Usually with some excellent traditional German cooking.
